The fact is, whether it's West or you, someone is refusing to sign the treaty that has actually been shown to the player base. Until that treaty is signed, I doubt that Bretonian is going to acknowledge/roleplay that a treaty exists.
It's also interestingly convenient that you can refer to a treaty that only exists as a name and footnote in the storyline and expect everyone else to go along with it. A treaty in which you don't have to actually agree to anything or give up any of your claims. In essence, it's not a treaty so much as fantasy, a fantasy you seem content to bend to whatever is convenient for you.
It seems to me the only reason you refuse to sign a treaty that's written down is because it's inconvenient for you and Kusari. You don't want to lose anything, so you stick to a treaty that has no known terms, agreements or concessions.
I agree with Aphil, without a Treaty your free to make up your own terms and not lose a thing, until a treaty that BOTH sides agree to is in place I don't see how you can expect Bretonia to help you.
I have heard feedback about the treaty. I think some of us have a difference of opinions on that. I dont think it is likely to change. Possibly it is time to move on to other issues.
Considering the past history between zelot and treaties, i think their demand is quite reasonable. So far i have seen nothing but zelot attempting to get his little faction invite only, then after that attempting to powergame his way to having no weakness.
The community is clearly against something like that which goes against the entire point of the ronin.
