So... is there any place where people could read the laws enforced by =LSF= ? What the LSF can and cannot do, what are your resposibilities when stopped by an LSF officer, what goods are considered illegal in Liberty and so on. It would be a good idea to write down all the rights and responsibilities of:
- ships flying in the Liberty space
- LSF / LPI / Navy officers
- perhaps Bounty Hunters if they have any special status
so that next time people will know what happens to them if they break the law, and so that people are actually aware of what is and what isn't legal in Liberty space.

so smugglers has no other choice as end on KoS,if he stop and you see the contraband or if he try to escape to avoid scanning.always he end on KoS list.
Well if that driver pulled out of a Garage he would still be arrested. You seem to have just caught an understanding though. If you smuggle, do not get caught, do not get scanned, do not get noticed at all. You operate below the radar. Not broadcast your activities on system chat. If you wish to continue to smuggle I suggest you try again under a new char. Because everytime I spot you in Alaska now I will have an Agent stand at the mines in NY to intercept you.

Tell that to your partners in war crimes -- the SA who should be known as the Nazi brown shirts. An SA officer opened fire on one of my characters (Juan_Williams) who had NO contraband based on the following two lame excuses:
I had a Smuggler ID (but he ignored the fact that I had no contraband, unless you count bounty hunter pilots);
I was red to him, since I had a Junkers tag (but a Liberty Navy player faction, like SA, shouldn't be hostile to Junkers, since Liberty Navy NPCs aren't).
Somebody else mentioned that any player who kills bounty hunters should be treated as hostile by the police and navy. That's not true for the following reasons:
LPI & Liberty Navy NPCs kill bounty hunters all the time, whenever they catch the bounty hunters with contraband;
The Bounty Hunters Guild became one of my enemies, because I got tired of being attacked by greedy NPC bounty hunters who were demanding criminal pilots that I had captured -- I don't believe in rewarding thieves, even if they're members of the BHG.
Juan_Williams' tags were LPI, then Liberty Navy before gaining the Junkers tag -- LPI is still friendly and Liberty Navy is maxed-out friendly (in other words, Juan_Williams is not the average Junker).
Please don't compare Smuggling in FL to the real world Spear.
Lets not forget this is still a game, and what your basically now saying is everytime a smuggler is caught (And lets not forget that global was never actually caught) he needs to get a name change? the name change you would probably see him posting and keep your eye out for the new name and have your "agent" near the mines anyway...
See what im saying? what is the point in smuggling when you have to do all that when you can make more on a legal route.
Theres quite a few people that like to RP smugglers but your making it pointless.
And before you say use your imagination and fly under the radar we have and still are without being caught 90% of the time and we have many ways to do it.
Hell my smuggler was even having a conversation with the LSF that where on while i was smuggling through new York the other day.

Withe respect Juan thats now what you originally said.
' Wrote:I had a similar problem with a member of SA while playing my Juan_Williams character. I left the West Point trade lane near Newark Station. My only cargo was several bounty hunter pilots (5-7, I think). As soon as I left the trade lane, I saw two BHG NPCs nearby, so I killed them (taking me to 7-9 bounty hunter pilots). While I was fighting them, I saw that my shields were going down fast, indicating that I was being attacked by another player.
You were engaged by a lawful for shooting a friendly NPC. Wheter the lawful NPC fight the Bounty Hunter NPC's after they refuse to drop their cargo is irrelevant and no concern to a Junker. I think most of us can agree the Military and Police engaging Bounty Hunters NPC's for refusing to jettison pilots is very strange and should be removed.

No I am not saying every time he is caught he should change char, but the fact is he has now drawn so much attention to himself that he will be watched like a known criminal. I also said create a new char not a name change as I may or may not see this.
You get away with smuggling 90% of the time flying under the radar! Good for you, thats what I suggested. Where the problem? I am making RP'ing a smuggler pointless and yet you get away with it 90% of the time? Thats a bit strange!
Why am I making it pointless to RP a smuggler? Because I RP a lawman? You are right I shouldnt bother, my RP should not get in the way of your enjoyment should it. Your right this is a game, there's no fooling you!
Lets remember that in the first instance he was requested to stop and did not. He was an obvious smuggler but his crime was failing to stop. He was caught later on the same route carrying Artifacts just as he was doing before but that was not what he was originally wanted for.
Erm don't you think your taking this a little to personal?
EDIT: No the making RPing a Smuggler pointless was aimed at having to rename a char everytime you get asked to stop or caught and to remake it is even worse, do you no what your asking someone to do?
' Wrote:Erm don't you think your taking this a little to personal?
Perhaps, or perhaps I happen to find being reminded I am playing a game is condescending.
Edit: I am not asking someone who has been caught to re-make their char everytime at all. What I am saying is globalplayer-svk has now made himself so noticable that he will be watched all the time.
It is pretty simple, don't know the fuzz about it.
If the police has you in range, and tell you to kill your engines, you should do it.
Unless you want them as enemies.
If, however, you refuse, you should take responsibility for your actions.
If a cop tells you to stop, on the street, you stop.
It doesn't matter if he's not aware of the corpses in your trunk.
If you refuse, you'r a wanted man.
On the other note, don't know if the LSF should act as a police.
I always thought they should be something like, the Agency.
Secrets, info, spying. Less fighting, less policing.
But, it's your RP, if your RP-ing a Police, then you have all the right to haul traders.

NO. I wasn't. Get your facts straight. READ the beginning of my quote below again, then READ my new comments below my quote.

Spear: Do you see one word about him claiming that his attack was based on the fact that I was attacking BHG NPCs? No, you don't because he never said that. You're also ignoring the fact that he fired on me repeatedly BEFORE saying anything. That's the behavior of a pirate or terrorist, not police or navy.

When are you going to say the same thing about Juan_Williams? I don't like police/navy players who attack without warning. Police/navy player factions shouldn't be acting like terrorists.
