I find it retarded that they want to force people to use origin like this.

But anyway, I have it for BF3, so it won't keep me from getting ME3.

the internet really does have an annoying mob mentality to it. anyhow i still gotta get round to pre-ordering ME3.

Insert disingenuous assertions here

3 months ago I made plans of buying a new PC for ME3 but then, the EA pulled a stunt on Battlefield Play4Free which resulted in lose of weapons for the ones that actually paid for them. So, now, I ain't buying anything from EA and sadly, ME3 is from EA.:(I think a copy will do just fine:cool:

Yeah, I'm considering alternative means of playing ME3. I'm not installing Origin, I don't need it for any of my other games, I like having my entire game library on Steam, and honestly it's just a dick move:

> Releases ME1 and ME2 on Steam

> Doesn't release ME3, the final chapter of the series, on Steam; forces Origin instead

Same, simply for the fact that origin has a spyware I will buy a retail copy of the game but install it using a pirate version. I do not consider normal that they force us to accept their spyware to play a game.

Buying the game is one thing and has to be done to keep the industry alive but in counterpart being forced to give to a completely untrustable company your computer informations, processes running and applications open is not something I'll ever agree with.

I have a PC capable of playing the latest games, worth about 500 pounds.

I don't have an Xbox 360. Your suggestion would cost me about 250 pounds (200 for console, 50 for ME3).

I don't think that's a practical solution.
