Its just that the trade lanes arent as dangerous and, since the new "Cruise" Speed differs and has been increased, it might be better to just use the Cruise Engines instead. Except through fields like astroids and suck, brings shields and damages hulls. So it might be good to travel through the trade lanes for that. Other wise the ambushers and ambushees might not live to tell about it. The post was mainly about the indies like Dubstep, who fly in the Sabre, which to me, isnt the greatest fighter around and if I had a choice, I would have gone with a hacker fighter/bomber instead. Better powercore and very stylish, unlike the Border World Sabre. Also the fact Ive been to over 60 worlds/bases and found over 70 Jumpholes, I do know how to get around:P
Well, it does seem realistic that the Sabre would be a Para-Military instead of a Pirate thing. I mean seriously, why sabres, if someone has a understanding of em, the Sabre pilots are screwed. Personally, the Kingfisher is a more acceptable since the Kingfisher can make maneuvers and use weapons of wide variety instead of being limited. Also, it would surprise some people that some Liberty Navy or Rhienland Fighters came about and were actually pirates impersonating house military. That would be something I would like to see once and a while.
The Lane Hackers keep up their activity with shared ships.
A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.

Why is that ? I am totally not screwed on my sabre.

The Sabre can do maneuvers, too, duh. And the Sabre is simply better for piracy than the Kingfisher, which (compared to the sabre) lacks firepower.
The Sabre can use a similar variety of weapons.

Go to Gallia - Though it's only the police pirating there.
' Wrote:I've noticed that when travelling the trade lanes, NPCs do the hijacks. I remember that in the previous version, I got hijacked by a player pritate at nearly every trade lane. Now in the 4.86, theres almost no one hijacking. Is this due to the feature "Weapon Incompatability" ordeal in the 4.86 or they cant get to their accounts?
Here is the answer

Mining are buffed, more mining spot, more bonus and more money, so pirate found their new liking in miner and leave trader in pain Q_Q
To Tachyon: Please, sure, the Sabre may have better firepower, but face it, It has compatability iusses with various weapons. Making a attempt of actaully trying to make the Sabre sound great is flawed logical move. Liberty Rogues and Lane Hackers have better ships. Sabre is 14th in armor, 8th in weapons, and 16th in NB/SB. The Liberty Avenger does better with hull, cargo, and NB/SB. Your looking at firepower as a main element to look for, which is not the best attribute to always look for. I flew some transports and the Anti-Fighter turrets cans still be out-manuvered. So its not a question of firepower, its a question of the fighters abilities. Karasu is a better pick, it make be less in the weapons department, but it can out-manuver missile lock-on from opposing ships. Fighters around about speed and firepower, if you sacrifice speed for firepower, then its not much of a fighter is it. Its more of a mobile weapons plateform than anything. And if your gonna say what I said is bull, well, sorry that you cant seem to understand that its not always about firepower.
On Topic: Only saw some activity today, but just LR and Lane Hackers in CL system, thats about it.

So does the Kingfisher, probalby the same amount.

The Lane Hackers do only have a GS now. The bayo was nerfed to uselessness. The Werewolf is the only ship better for Piracy, but most people would just buy a Barghest instead. Also, the Werewolf is vulnerable to a group fight or any situation in which it is outnumbered.
Also, the Sabre is still a fine ship, all it lost with it's little nerf is turning and acceleration - it kept it's strafing abilities, which are far more important in a piracy engagement than the acceleration.

First of all: Sabre>Avenger in turning, acceleration and overall movement. The Avenger is a brick, most sabre pilots will outturn it.
You are looking at hull and cargo, which are not the best attributes to always look for.

The Sabres abilities are above the Kingfisher's ones [the it's strafing and firepower combined] - end of story.

I can do the same on a Sabre. Also, Karasu shouldn't be used for piracy [What the thread and this discussion is all about].

If you sacrifice speed for firepower the result is somewhat similar to the Werewolf; did I mention it's great for piracy [compared to your ship suggestions] and 1on1 PvP ? I think I did.

The best mobile weapon platform, which can be used by a pirate is a Gunboat - It's kinda good against transports.
In piracy [since I was mostly referring to piracy], firepower is a very important point and I am good enough at PvP and piracy to know what counts.
