I am sending this message to your Headquarters with the intention to discuss some important issues as throwing light on our affliliation and creating some tactical shifts between our forces. If its possible the discussion may be private on board of Glasgow Outpost in Leeds system wherever you are available. I would also expect the commander in charge of your forces to contact me as soon as possible.
I will be waiting your response.
Sir Firmus Piett
Fleet Admiral of the Armed Forces
I am Commander Roger Anders of the Colonial Republic, currently in command of the Colonial Military forces due to Admiral Babchenko current ill health. Although I was previously only in command of our efforts in the Taus, these last few weeks have seen me up to speed with all our operations. In any case, all of the Republic's citizens know the situation on the Leeds Front.
It seems Connors and your Prime Minister never got past trade agreements the last time our nations had any negotiations. Clarifying our role in Bretonia's defence would be a good step and might just improve our chances.
I will make arrangements to meet with you on Glasgow as soon as possible.
I would like to inform you that the government of Bretonia and the Admiralty board of the Armed Forces have accepted the terms which we created during our diplomatic discussion at Glasgow Outpost:
1. The Colonial Republic are given access to Glasgow Outpost and Battleship York. In return they will provide reinforcements at York Great Fleet against the invading forces of the Gallic Royal Navy.
2. Capital ships from the Colonial Republic have permission to enter Bretonian space in the vicinity of system: Leeds
3. Exception to (2.) are: Dublin, Newcastle and Dundee systems, where CR| forces may enter in order to hunt down Gallic Royal Naval forces.
4. CR| will not engage Outcasts in the vicinity of systems: Leeds and Newcastle unless in self defence.
May these terms serve as an example of the good political stance between our two Nations and to more future cooperations.
Sir Firmus Piett
Fleet Admiral of the Armed Forces
Indeed, it is good to have a chance to discuss more than simple trade relations between our two peoples. I have already heard from President Connors that our Parliament agrees to Bretonia's terms, and now our nations officially consider each other friendly.
I will move the Athena to join up with the York battlegroup after her maintenance is complete, and issue new orders to the 31st Reborn squadron.
In regards to the Outcasts, as long as the Dons can keep their horde under control, there should be no significant trouble with the meetings of our forces in Leeds.
Together, Bretonia and all of Sirius might have a chance to fight off the Gallic menace.
