Is this blasted contraption even working? Oh well, worth a try.
Bonjour, mon camarade!
If you still remember me, you should know that I was once a Legionnaire and had dissapeared due to personal reasons. I humbly apologize, as it appears that was a terrible mistake of mine. I had been living in Nevers for the past few months, and I couldn't get my mind off the Legion and how important it was to me. I wish I could fly to one of your stations to talk personally, but it appears my old ship is in no working condition, not to mention problems with the IFF transponder.
Alright, back to the point and reason for contacting you.
I wish to rejoin the Legion back into the ranks of mon friends. I hope this is possible, considering what happened before, but I'm slowly going mad at this point. The peaceful life on Nevers is not for me, it lacks something that gave me great pleasure.
With hopes of returning and forgiveness, I await your response.
Picking up an old and surprisingly familiar signal from Le Jokeur we contaced him and tossed him to secure channels. Reason of his visit was an acquisition of a certain piece of Council weaponry, namely a gunboat forward gun. Upon the promise of an adequate monetary reward Felix agreed to purchase said weaponry at the Council's shipyard Chalons-en-Champagne. At a glass of wine on Montbard together with monsieur le Jokeur I managed to worm out a few information, he seems to be planning something... grand. Whatever it may be, I have certain trust in his actions and am sure about those being beneficial for our cause.
Felix' tenacity and trustworthiness made him return quickly with the desired gun, the reward consisting of 10 million credits was apportioned to our accounts and we assured monsieur le Jokeur Junker bases being a secure haven if he needed rest, then we went seperate ways.
There are some days where instead of the expected dead silence you see every day, you get action at every step you take. Today was one of them. Me, in The Mistral, undocked from Montbard and met up with my companion, Jean Aigle, near the planet Bearne. He was apparently trying to convince an IDF trader to give us some 'funding'. Sadly, our words were useless as the trader was very stubborn, so we just let him go, considering he was right next to a stationary battleship. We will catch him later.
Next, we decided to move to the IDF system and see if we find anything there. We stumbled upon a GRN bomber that thought it was funny to hide near a stationary battleship (again), the result was him shooting himself with a torpedo, phah! Moments later, we stumbled upon an Kusari Explorer, who claimed to be a researcher, flying RV- tags. We asked him if he needed any, well, 'supplies that the lawful markets didn't offer'. He was apparently in need of some Counterfeit Software, so we struck a deal to sell some to him. The trade went well and with no obstructions, gained 600.000SC and parted our different ways.
After we thought we would see no more action, we went back to Burgundy to dock on Montbard. You could already guess what happens next. We met an Outcast Dreadnought(?) under fire by two Royalist bombers. We decided to intercept, but the capital ship ran away while we were busy fighting the Royalist ships, ungrateful swine. They called in two more bombers to help deal with us. While we were fighting, a gunboat under the flag of Rorry's Renegades came in to assist. All of the ships have either fled or have been destroyed[2]. Sadly, Jean had some business to do and left us there to finish off the rest of them.
Have our fun adventures ended for today? Nope! The Renegade told me that his companion needed help and I figured I should repay the favor for the assistance. We went back to Planet Bearne where we met up with an SMP pilot, another Renegade against three bombers, a gunboat (Onslaught) and a Cruiser (Leclerc). A fight followed, first resulting in the Royalist bomber going blam. As the fight continued, the GRN Gunboat, along with the ghost of a dead bomber went kapow! At the end of the fight, the GRN Cruiser fell last, resulting in a delightful explosion of fireworks. After the fight ended, I thought it's high time I took a break and docked off at Montbard, thankfully with no more people bothering me.
Today, we decided to make a move and go see what we can find in Kusari. After a painfully slow journey to.. some Kusari system, we spread out throughout the system to the major trade lanes and jump holes. We found nothing, rejoice! After a bit of waiting though, an Outcast Gunboat jumped out of the jump hole and, after a few warnings, thought it would be damn funny to shoot missiles at me. I was saddened. I replied with a couple of shots as well, and it turned into a battle. The silly Tridente was using their simple inferior turrets, so it was a damn easy fight. He died with an awfully hilarious comment. After that, we decided to just leave as that place lacked traffic back to Java Station.
Unfortunately, we entered a conflict with

I just love these days when things go your way. I decided to gear up and find something interesting, where I met up with Jean outside Java Station in Tau-23. We cruised a bit, and it wasn't long before we found an enormous stick floating in space. It was tagged IDF and had a smaller transport companion with it, who was apparently loaded with ore. The gentle persuasion didn't work, so we went with Plan B: shoot them. We knocked the Barge's shields down but then it shrinked and disappeared into the battleship. The companion of his was hugging said battleship, so we lost interest and stumbled upon a next threat: a GRN gunboat. The gunboat called in another royalist, a Lynx. After we engaged, the gunboat transformed into an explosion. The fighter was a bigger pain, as it was way smaller. Jean wanted to take care of it himself, but the fight was in the royalist's favor. I intervened, and the fighter ran back to it's battleship for hugs.
After that was over, we went back to Java Station for some repairs. That's all that happened for now. I heard the smaller transport died to an SMP bomber, heh.
Today, me, in The Mistral and Jean Aigle in his fighter undocked from Java Station in Tau 23 and found.. squids not so far away. They used their mind tricks, made us come closer and started singing something.. horrible. That didn't last long, though, as they lost interest and went away. I don't think Jean was as fortunate, as he appears to not remember anything that happened, he should get checked.
After we got our heads back on, we decided to go to Orkney. Then, we went back to Tau-23, where Jean went away to get some rest on Java. I, on the other hand, heard reports about a Royalist Cruiser in Burgundy, and decided to go there. It appeared when I arrived, Oeil d'Aigle was already chasing it down to Dijon Station, where I was waiting for him. Unfortunately, even with it's cruise engine dropped, it reached Dijon. Oeil wanted to let it go, but I disapproved and moved in. A fight ensued afterwards around the entire area of Dijon. We were gaining the upper hand in the battle since the start, but that's what you expect from Royalists. In the end, where the cruiser was about to be destroyed, 'emergency-docked' onto Dijon. After that whole thing was over, we went to Montbard to end the day.

Haven't wrote here for a while and since Jean was too lazy to write one himself, I'll have to do everything myself (yey). Today, we undocked out of Java Station only to be met by a Royal Navy Cruiser threatening some CR ship to leave. After making some comments regarding the situation, the cruiser didn't hesitate to fire on me. Not Jean. After heroically charging in and shooting the cruiser, we eventually made it go bam. [1]
After that, we resupplied ourselves and bid farewell to the CR along with some creepy Freelancer that watched the entire fight. Me and Jean decided to do some donation-collecting in Kyushu. That's where our money shower started. Transport after transport, we started earning money. I was wondering why we didn't come to Kusari more often. One of them tried to escape, but reconsidered when his shield went pop. After a while, the Kusarians seemed to notice that we were there, so we moved up a bit into New Tokyo. Again, we were profiting quite a lot with barely any resistance. Surprisingly, none of them called for backup (or nobody responded to their calls). Finally, deciding we had collected enough for the day, we moved back to Java.
Jean took some nice 'Gaian Wildlife' of some sort, so we had a nice meal at the end.
Le house of Kusari is a plump wallet bursting at the seams. Felix and moi lightened it a tad bit yesterday. To our sadness, three remarkably large trade ships could not be taxed appropriately, the sturdy hull of super transports sadly whithstood our gunfire for a few seconds too long. On the bright side, the owners of these vessels will certainly emit cries of dismay upon taking a look at the repair bill of their monstrous ships. But how did I commence, let us put aside the less successful events....
It truly is a strange feeling when you stumble upon people who claim to know you, whereas yourself have no clue of who this individual may be. It appears the memories of my countless visits in the home system of les Malteses are blurred. Whatever, at Tsushima Depot in Kyushu we met a trader claiming to be part of the "Warriors of Light" of the Malteses. The following monetary transaction is based on the trader ship captain's own free will. Neither Felix or I have forced him to make a donation of such an amount. It might be appropriate that the Legion shows some generosity as well once we pay a visit to Malta again.
Later on we met several traders in both Kyushu and New Tokyo, all of them either taxed or otherwise shrinked in their possessions.
After the limited fuel tanks of our swift Cuirassiers were almost empty, Felix et moi returned back to our suites on Java.

**They are like us in a few ways...Hating the Crown for its genocidal actions...The lust and love of wealth in their hands**
**So today I make an announcement to you all...I will for the time being allow full access to let the QCP stage attacks within Gallia from our base in the Berry system...There together we shall drive a knife into the backs of the Royalists and their supporters, the same as they did to us all who remember**
**In Languedoc there was no difference, as our ships spotted a pair of Royalist cruisers...Killing transports moving goods from Gallia right at the border!**
**The outright hatred upon hearing such fills me but do not be worried, for our men in arms without pause moved in and engaged them outright, despite the dangers...And to that edge, they were crushed like the men and women they slaughtered moments before**
