KISHIRO TECHNOLOGIES

Kishiro Technologies has a history almost as old as Kusari itself. It was founded in 10 A.S, and before 60 A.S had distinguished itself in the field of Optronics. Kishiro's edge in the Optronics market continues to this day.

Kishiro vessels are found in all lawful parts of Sirius, including Gallia.

More recently, Kishiro became partners with the Gas Miner's Guild - taking over the contract from Samura Heavy Industries. These contracts involved shipbuilding, technology development, as well as shipping and mining rights.

Recent Events: Politically, Kishiro had long lived inthe shadow of its main rival, Samura. As the rule of Emperor Jien Kogen drew to a close, Kishiro and elements of the KNF began to channel their support to the Democratic Party of Kusari.

After the disastrous Kusari-Gallic War of 818 A.S, the KNF overthrew the previous administration, and installed the DPK as caretakers. DPK rule was ratified by a general election soon after, and further reforms were made by referendum.

The result of this was the rebirth of Kusari as a democratic Republic. Opposition to these changes comes from the conservative opposition, backed by Samura and the Farmer's Alliance. Kusari's traditional enemies, the Blood Dragons and GC, are also waiting in the wings to unleash hell upon the unwary Kishiro trader...

Neutral - Bretonian Lawfuls, Samura, Hogosha

In addition to bases, and holdings on Planet Honshu, Kishiro also maintains the following assets:

Kishiro|Tsussen - Barge
Kishiro|Naosu - Base Construction Platform

Commercial Interests:

Sigma-19 Gas Mining Claim - during the development of the Sigma-19 system, the GMG granted Kishiro gas mining rights of its own. In return, Kishiro financed the construction of a gate from Honshu to Sigma-19, as well as the tradelane to Gas Miner Ogashawa.

The mining allotment run by Kishiro is located in the Sigma-19 system, at sector B2. It is noteable for its Kishiro IFF gas mining units.

Deshima Station - Kishiro also maintains a large workforce on Deshima. These employees are involved in the manufacturing of Consumer Goods for domestic and foreign trade.

Kansai Research Station - A secure and fortified complex within a Honshu minefield. This government-run facility has been the subject of many rumours. Speculation has it that Kishiro has been involved with research into active Artifacts, as well as the development of Jump Drive technology.

Gallic Trade Pact - as part of the Kusari-Gallia Treaty, Kusari corporations have trade rights into Gallic space. Be sure to calibrate your IFF transponders accordingly!
