Well great. Since neither you nor OSI have any interest in telling Mr Orphelia what to do and you repeatedly said that you will not resort to violance this conversation is actually meaningles...
If you titled this discussion: "Mr Orphelia OSI is angry with you and therefore will not work with you and make angry faces and speeches at you untill you let CoF run the show!" this whole heated discussion wouldn't have taken place. Nobody would give a damn. But since you made it sound like you are actually doing something this conversation and drawing of lines took place.
So I advise you to apologize for creating this ruccuss and create a separate topic where you state your reprecussions against Mr Orphelia. Then he can answer whether he actually cares or not and we can all go home. You with the feeling of rightousness the rest of us with the feeling that nothing happened.

Very well said.
Quote:It would be best if the administrator choice was left up to the residents of Freeport 11, and I will stand against any... even temporary... confederate control of the station. That's all for now.
Agreed.
Quote:Also... Do remember, my fellow Zoners, that for better or
for worse these Co-Ordinates that were so freely released
were already on sale by the OSI. Clients that bought this
co-ordinates are not made public and the OSI currently trade
with Gallia, perhaps the Gallic's already had these co-ordinates
well before Mr Orphelia released them freely.
Come to think of it are the GMG aware that you are selling
co-ordinates to their space from your station?
Let us drop this talk of exile then, I suppose that some of your unwillingness to step down can be attributed to the fact that you will apparently not have many places that welcome you if Zoner installations do not, not many places can support the mooring of a Nephilim.
Let ask you something. If the condition of Exile is to be dropped, will you stand down then? If all that you need to do is give up any and all administrative and leadership duties with regards to Freeport 11, will you accept then?
Well congratulations from me as well to finding a reasonable solution without resorting to gun-fire. While I reamain sceptic to CoF or TAZ administrating Freeport 11, especially considering OSI's selling of jump coordinates, I am happy the solution was found. Thank you all for your cooperation and I wish the best of luck to the next administrator of Freeport 11 whoever it might be.
Yours Cpt. John-Sky.

For the record, TAZ has never desired nor does it wish to control Freeport 11. Besides some medical personnel on station and an occasional visit by a TAZ transport, that is we're just visitors like anyone else.
I'd say I'm surprised at the number of people calling themselves Zoners who spring forth in instances like these, but I'm not. Mr. Sky here is a perfect example of a man calling himself a Zoner while not knowing the first thing about what it is to be a Zoner.
You are correct, Mr. Sky, Mr Orphelia had earned the trust of many over the years, myself and my company to be included. The fact that he had no qualms with stealing from us and his pride in the deed speaks volumes about his character. His actions after we removed him from the secure communication channels that Zoners have used for years were, to put it mildly, childish. He endangered the lives of many Zoners and the lives of many of our friends in the Gas Miners Guild.
You clearly have no idea about what it means to be a Zoner nor how we Zoners operate. You claim that Zoners don't exile one another from Freeports? Do I need to bring up the ORI? Do I need to quote Chris Talbott?
Quote:The Zoners' philosophy is to not antagonize anyone. We wish to coexist in peace with all factions in the Sirius sector, whether they are criminal or government. Zoners who cannot abide by this code are asked to leave. They often become Bounty Hunters. So we have a special relationship with the Guild.
So you see, Mr. Skye, it is our way to exile people from our community who endanger it. As you seem so fit on thinking that allies make the difference, need I remind you that if push comes to shove I'm sure the Gas Miners will surely side against Mr Orphelia due to his actions of late. I'd suggest you run back to whatever hole you came from and remain there. If you wish to for things to get messy, I've no issue with strapping on a flight suit and showing you exactly how capable I am of protecting myself.
As for the insinuations that my company has been selling information that endangers other Zoners or our allies? Insinuations are all they are. The coordinates Mr Orphelia released were a fraction of what our database contains. I personally handle the release of all coordinates to our clients and I use discretion when releasing them. Mr. Orphelia was a trusted administration and I saw no issue with giving him the coordinates he was given.
I'm not going to even mention the fact that Mr Orphelia was not elected by the residents of Freeport 11, but appointed by OSI, TAZ, and the Omicroners (to include the previous protector, Ms Tate). The residents of 11 respected our appointment due to our influence within the community and because Mr Orphelia had given them very little reason to reject him as an administrator.
Mr Orphelia has agreed to step down as 11's administrator and until a replacement can be appointed and approved by the residents on 11, the Confederation will administrate the station.
// Just to note, Chris Talbott is a vanilla Zoner NPC and the quote is one of his rumors from vanilla.
