After a while Emmanuelle walks into the bar, she is wearing her red dress as always. Over the years it has become as much of a trademark to her as it would be just "another" dress for someone else.
She looks around the Sins over to the civilized side, once she noticed doctor Holliday she elegantly walks up to him. As she reaches the table she smiles and says "Bonjour monsieur Holliday" and she leans over the table for two kisses, one on each cheek, it is considered a normal greeting in Gallia.
She then sits down on the opposite side of the table and looks around for a moment as if she was searching for the right words to start this conversation, eventually she takes a deep breath.
"I have asked you for this meeting because I have some things you should probably know of or agree with. First of all there is this matter about the unknown Kusari woman we have onboard Discordia, she is one of the few people that survived the destruction of Freeport XXI. We've pulled her from a heavily damaged escape pod, she had no passport or any other way of identification on her, now that wouldn't be so much of a problem but she also appears to suffer from amnesia. She considers herself to be a zoner and she fills in quite well on Discordia but since I don't know anything about her i'm a bit concerned and I would like your advice."
After she finished speaking she pulled out a notepad and showed John a picture of the Kusari woman.
OORP: I have received your RP but I can't answer since you're PM box is full, either way, emmanuelle isn't the redhead,s he's the blonde :p

John gently smiles as Emmanuelle kisses him. He then gets up and pulls her chair out for her before returning to his seat, he greets her in her native language, "Il est bon de vous voir, Madamoiselle."
He then listened to her explaining the situation before looking at the picture. "No one I've ever seen before," he said curiously, "Amnesia? That may be tough."
Then he felt himself rude for not offering her a drink. "Qu'est-ce que vous voulez boire," he asked in her native language. He kept looking at the picture, trying to figure it out.
Without hesitation she orders a glass of wine and silently gazes at John who is still looking at the picture. "I was planning to send her photograph to all Sirius authorities and Freeports but in the end I changed my mind. Who knows what kind of people it might bring to my ship, for all I know she could be a wanted criminal."
Her glass of wine arrives and she thanks the waiter. She takes the glass in her right hand and slightly raises it to John "Santé" she says before taking her first sip.
"I think she is in the killing bussiness, when we retrieved her from the escape pod she only had three things on her, a white bathrobe with a small Freeport XXI embroidery on the back and two kusari jungle blades..." She pauses for a moment, apparently this strange mix of items amuses her. "My guess is that she was in the shower when the station became under siege. She probably just grabbed the first piece of clothing she had in her reach along with her weapons and then made a run for the nearest pod."
She sips her glass of wine again and looks at John at the same time.

"Sante," Doc replied, toasting his guest.
"You were wise, Madamoiselle, for not distributing the information as you thought," Doc responded as he sipped his own drink before ordering a bottle of wine for the two of them, "we must be careful."
"Kusari jungle blades.....I have no idea as to what those are," he questioned, "but the bathrobe shouldn't raise any alarms I wouldn't think."
He sat in thought, unsure of what to do. Then he looked to Mimieux, "What do you think? I could bring her to Shasta if she's not going to threaten any of us since it's fairly peaceful. I could even bring her to my facilities at Canaria. You know her, at least somewhat so I seek your guidance on this one."
As they spoke, dinner menus arrived for them both.
She slowly runs her finger down one of the pages of the menu while she listens to John. After he finished talking she switches to the next page "I would think it's for her own good to stay aboard Discordia, we visit alot of places and perhaps seeing something familiar will help her recover her memory, I will keep you updated on her situation."
She finally closes the menu "I think i'll have the same as you, i'm still not familiar with the sirian recipes... Either way there is one more thing I need to talk to you about." She picks her notepad up from the table again and opens a large file that has several schematics and maps in it.
"The accident on Malaclypse's Sanctuary was mostly unfortunate and I am grateful that everyone made it out alive... I've been spending alot of time in Liberty lately and I thought it would be a good idea to preach the Principa Discordia there. What I had in mind..." she slides her finger across the screen to scroll to a file that is named T.A.F. and she shows it to John "... is to build a freeport in Pennsylvania near Bethlehem station, a Temporary Autonomous Freeport to be exact. Richard Cole agrees with me that it would be an unique opportunity to 'recruit' more people to our cause."
She sips from her glass of wine again and leans back a bit, curious about John's response.

Doc gives a short chuckle, "Sirius has a great many dishes to choose from, from every house and group. We try to have a little something from everywhere here. Because of Mrs. Holliday, I've become partial to Kusari quisine although," he looks around before finishing, "the Corsairs make some pretty good dishes themselves."
He looks at the menu. Realizing he hadn't had a Corsair dish in some time, he orders two. "The lady will have one as well," he says to the waiter.
"If you feel that this person you have won't be a threat then she can stay in the medical ward here at Shasta. I'll have a security detail watch her but give her space." He then smirked, "leaving her here in Club Discordia may not be a great idea."
He turned his thoughts to the base proposal. He had tossed the idea of a base around before but never seriously. "Yes, the end of Sanctuary was tragic but a base in Pennsylvania. Bethlehem hasn't always been a peaceful place with much of the criminal element running to it to escape the Liberty Navy and of course, all Zoners get judged."
He took a sip of his drink, "my other concern is Rogues. While I have no issues with them myself, they can be a ruthless bunch for just looking at them sideways. I suggest we scout around the system and find an ideal location for it. I think being near Bethlehem would be more problematic than good."
He pauses a moment, "If my concerns are addressed as to location, I will prepare the documents and contact the Liberty Government for permission......which we will need."
She looks a bit concerned when John orders two Corsair dishes, a while ago someone told her they eat babies. She was about to say something when she changed her mind, John wouldn't eat a baby. Would he?
She shakes her head to get rid of that thought and takes a deep breath "Well if you put it that way, but I thought Bethlehem station would be ideal because that way the freeport will have more visitors then when it would be kilometers away from a tradelane" She pauses for a moment to think "However... If we move it closer to planet Erie and still in range of a tradelane, it would be in an ideal position from the nearby cloud, I will definetly do some more scouting in the area."
She leans back for a moment but soon remembers it is considered rude so she quickly sits up straight again. "Are you sure we need to ask the Liberty authorities for permission? I was told Erie is a part of Liberty but it isn't considered house space, right? Isn't that why we can jump our carriers there? ... Either way, if you can manage to get a building permit then Richard Cole's crew and my own can start building, you wouldn't believe how efficient the Hakim Bey Depot and the Flash Bang Wallop are together"
She grimasses when she said the name of the second ship "I didn't pick that name by the way, I made Amelia captain so I let her decide." She sighs and looks at John again "So on fnordnet you said there also was something you wanted to talk to me about?"

The meals arrived. "Creten Chicken," commented Doc, "with just the right amount of spice. They may have food shortages on Crete but when they have it, they sure know how to cook it. Chicken, spices, green and red peppers, onions and tomato sauce."
Doc took a bit, closed his eyes, leaned back a bit and savored it. After he swallowed and opened his eyes, "Delicious. I do hope you like it."
As they dined, they conversed. "I see your point on keeping it near Bethlehem. I do know there is a Neon processing base not far from it. As to who's it is I don't know. Still, we could build it to where it's visible, not too far away yet far enough away to where it won't get unwanted attention from the criminal element."
He took another bite. "Outstanding!"
"I guess I'll need to check on the legalities of it in the system," he continued, "last I knew, Liberty controls the space. I guess being safe isn't a bad thing, right?"
Before continuing, he took some time to eat and share small talk with his guest. It had been some time since he dined with a female other than his wife. It was, well, refreshing in a way. His old self came out slightly as he admired her a bit but not making it obvious.
"What I wanted to talk to you about was Gallia itself," he said after much of his meal was consumed, "I've been criticized for not offering apology for actions committed by former TAZ people who are no longer around to do so themselves. I have been accused of harboring a grudge, one I feel justified in keeping. I have been accused of letting that hate cloud my judgement and therefore, making me an ineffective leader."
He paused a moment, sighed and asked, "Should I offer an apology? If so, to whom? I've come to know you well enough and you've earned my trust enough to ask this since you are native to Gallia."
He paused again, "and do you think those accusations against me are....fair?"
He sat back, somewhat ashamed with his hands upon the table before him. He wasn't doing well to hide how he was feeling.
She stares at the chicken on her plate for a moment and shakes her head again to get rid of the idea that it looks like a baby, she takes her knife and fork and cautiously tastes a piece of chicken it was like nothing she ever tasted before. "Delicious."
When John starts talking about Gallia she almost said "I knew it!" but quickly recovered and ate another piece of chicken, when she swallowed that she thinks for a moment. "Well to be honest I know little about the events in Gallia since I left, I heard some rumors about the death of crown princess Aurelia but i'm sure those are just exaggerations. But if you want I could try to contact some people I still trust, it might take a while though."
she puts down her knife and fork for a moment and cleans off her lips with her napkin before continuing "You ask me if the accusations are fair... It all depends on how you look at it, are you responsible for the actions of other people? No I think not... But if I may be honest with you, I would recommend apologizing, because I know what the Royals can do and trust me... if they decide to go to war with us, then that is a war we can't win."

"I don't seek a war or any conflict with them," Doc stated, "I made positive overtones to them long ago that were met with hostile responses and I don't even need to remind you of what Aurelia DeFrance pulled but.....that isn't the issue here."
He thought for a moment and made a face of wonderment, "I don't even know who is in charge for now so um, who would I contact?"
