Turn Left as Num 4
Turn Right as Num 6
Pitch Up as Num 8
Pitch down as Num5 or Num 2
Afterburn as Num 0
Above setting may get changed to your taste
once done Save the settings ad just Do the Exact thing that i say:
Press H key to go in Steer Mode.
Press Space key to go in Mouse Flight mode.
( if you dont go in Mouse flight mode you wont be able to do it . so check that what key is set as Mouse Flight mode in : Options /Controlls / ship controll .)
then Hit Throttle key (W is the Default) and set your speed on maximum.(dont go in cruise)
Now Press Ctrl Key..and Keep it Down...Mean while Scroll your mouse . then you may use Zoom ability.
and its turn to use the Num keys you setup.
once you figured it...it may feel weird but you will get used to it.
The best thing is Heading to Connecticut system to learn about How to use this in a Real fight.
This is the Basic. and it needs some training to get used to it..so dont expect it to be easy

I've actually found someone in game that has been teaching me and it is definitely not as easy as I thought it would be. The setup he advised me is similar to yours with some minor differences. My keyboard allows me move my ten key to the left or right side of my keyboard so it makes it a bit easier. I appreciate you taking the time to write the steps down though. Thx!
Or another idea what you could do is go here and use the Discovery Turret Steering Device it is something I made exactly for capital ships to help you turret steer a lot easier.

Did i tell you this? You are Awesome!
any how..the device needs some basic rules to learn but not much a problem...any how...Thanks for Sharing it.
If you want a BS which can get into large fights, I suggest making one on both the RNC and LNS side.

Omg, greatest thing ever!!!! This will make it much easier switch between turret steering and normal flight!! Ty a million times over!!!!!
Ok, I finally broke down and bought a liberty dreadnaught and it is an amazing ship but I am inexperienced in battleships so can someone help me with the loadout? Right now I have 4 primaries 4 secondaries 2 flak 2 cerbs and 1 battleship missile.
Is this a good loadout? I was thinking about swapping the missile for a mortar but I'm not sure. I am mainly going to use this for fighting rheinland caps and they mostly seem to bring smaller more agile caps so I thought the missile might be handy.
Also, what positions should the guns be in? I have the flaks on 2 and 6 and the missile on 13. Thanks for any further help you guys can provide.
Thanks flash! I moved the flaks to 1 and 2 and I like them there a lot better. I'm still not sure about the missile though. Is it better to have a missile or a mortar? Or maybe a 3rd cerb?
