Um, guys a starblazer with 4 xenos guns use to be on the list of 'ships to avoid in the hands of a good pilot/caylith'.
I mean I once stripped the shields and half-hulled a train in one (admittedly awhile ago).
The xenos guns used to be second only the the outcast particle guns in damage and the xeno low level guns used to be better.
If the starblazer is still as agile as I remember and can still mount 4x class 5 guns then your laughing, cos only a few HFs can out damage it and then they'll be having energy probs.
If they do get an ally then it'd be nice if they could get a gunboat.
Forgive my ignorance but aren't Xenos, well... xenophobic? Meaning they wouldn't be particularly welcoming to any but their own, making forming alliances a tad tricky. If you don't have the greatest diplomatic skills due to massive ingrained bigotry then you ain't gunna make many friends.
From what little I remember of the xeno rumours etc:-
The main reason the xenos hate the other houses is that they all lost their jobs due to cheap imports.
After all why pay a workforce of several hundred to mine what you can buy several million tons (or whatever the cargo is measured in) of for the same amount?
Thats why they attack non-liberty company ships, especially the traders.
As to why they haven't been wiped out?
Why would the liberty companies (including the police) want to destroy a group that hindering their competion from making more profit.
And in the case of the police why destroy a group that keeps you employed?
Question, is a Xeno player with a Xeno tag and ID allowed to pilot a gunboat? The Prospectors tales suggest it is so, but i wish to check so i dont get shot for nothing.
Well as you know Xenos are lower class Libertonians, so I guess a reglar Xeno wouldnt have money for that? Dont want to dissapoint you by saying no, though.
