Platinum Inc is an expanding corporation which operates out of the Alberta system. We’re largely focused on the mining and selling of Platinum ore there. We operate from our base constructed not far from the edges of the Cold Lake Nebula. However there is much more to us than simply grabbing a mining ship and getting to work. Our transport fleets are often about, whether they be selling ore, gathering supplies for the base, or indeed off on another profitable venture.
One particular focus we have right now is increasing our substantial group of security escourts. Our security teams are tasked with conducting regular patrols of the Alberta system when other independent miners are about and protecting our own miners and trade fleets. As we get bigger we are increasingly doing additional work outside of the system. We’re conducting more and more business with other corporations of Sirius and this has led to, and hopefully much more, work in invested interests out width our primary goals. If you join us we’re looking for active members who are able to give a sufficient about of commitment to the company. Idle members who work too rarely and are exclusively looking to make money fast aren’t really what we’d like to see in new recruits. A good start is being able to attend at least 1 mining op a week, if more then great. Most importantly is having a good attitude and enjoying your work.

Tell us a little about yourself: Born on planet erie and raised by middleclass parents tought me plenty of things.My father being in the military ground forces tought me about self defence and his passion for flight (and visits to the airshows) made me pick up on flight training. My mother tought me about mining and a little bit of trading as she was a mining foreman.
Both parents died on my 19th cycle due to a strange accident and left me with enough credits to afford my first spaceship.
I have been earning money for the past 3 years by mining and when feeling lucky escorting traders to their destinations in my trusty surveyor.
But having grown tired of not belonging somewhere i have set out to find myself a new home, a new family who would watch my back as i watch theirs.

Tell us a little about yourself: Ah so you want to know story of my life? Fine, tho its not long one. I was born on Freeport 14 into family of freelancers, my father was freelancer, my older brother was freelancer so what choice i had? At age of nine i was already familiar with Hawk cockpit, at age of twelve i was able to pilot one. When i hit fifteen my older brother joined Liberty Navy having bright future as he was an excellent fighter pilot, for me it was bright as sun, that he will be captain of bigger vessel. For my eighteen birthday i replaced my older brother in family business and took over his Hawk. Since that day six years passed, which i gain experience as a pilot and freelancer.
We have been escorting trade convoys, work as debt collectors and even tried bounty hunting. Its worth noting that our Samura employer gave me my nickname "Karas" i believe it means crow, he was quite impressed i think, tho who really would know? I'm proud owner of Roc bomber, as this ship was always my dream and i worked hard to earn enough credits for it, and since my father retired from freelancing I'm looking for new job and possibility.

Tell us a little about yourself:My name is Julian, I'm a young miner that hails from Dublin. I've spent most of my life up to this point mining, mostly gold. I grew up with my parents, learning the trade from them as we made riches on the glittering soft precious metal. My parents are good folks, but they weren't the type to give me hand outs. I had to earn my own keep, and make my own money for things I wanted. Although it was hard work, even I made my fair share of profits when it came to gold. Eventually I had saved up enough to branch out, get my own ship, hire my own crew. They would never show it, but I knew my folks were proud.
Around about 2 years ago, folks I had known and trusted, people I had called brothers, made off with every credit I had earned. Trust is hard to come by, and these guys, well, they were good. I never saw it coming. Of course, I didn't even consider going to my folks and asking them for money. Knowing those two, they would have just told me it was my fault and I should have known better.
Eventually I worked up enough mining silver and copper ore mining vessels to get a new ship and start my own trade again. Shes not pretty to look at, but she gets the job done and hasn't even broke down on me yet. Being surrounded by bulkheads is nice, its how I grew up, and its where I feel at home. Planets are pretty and all, but I was never comfortable on soft ground.
At this moment, I sit in my quarters on my small mining vessel, sending this transmission in hopes that my skills would be useful. I'm versatile, I'll be damned if there's an ore I can't mine. I'm honest, outspoken(even too much for my own good sometimes), and I don't put up with any crap. If I've got a problem with someone, i'm just going tell them. Not because i disrespect them, but because I'd rather solve problems then let it linger. Issues don't get resolved by ignoring them.
Why do you want to work for platinum Inc: Because I work hard, and then I work even harder. I climbed to the top, fell down, but stood back up and began climbing again. Your mission seems to fit my attitude. Trustworthy and honest workers that come together for everyone's benefit
and does their job. I'm not looking for friends, but I sure wouldn't mind making some. If hired, it is my solemn duty do to everything I can for a company that will have my back, help me while I help them. If your a good honest company, then I would be more than joyed to swing the pick ax in your name with professional pride.
I must say I like you attitude sir. in the depths of space there's nothing you can rely and trust upon better than yourself. Your knowledge of your own ship, how it works and what you can do with it is a better defence than anything money can buy. That said, working together is more efficient and when thats scaled up to the size of a growing company like ourselves, there is lots of money to be made for all involved.
