During the ddos, I decided to test a few ship combinations in SP.
I tried to make a freighter that could also be a good bounty hunting and ship (With the unlawful path in mind).
After flying a few ships, I found the dromedary to be the best one suited to my needs.
But, I would like to know from other community members, how well does this ship perform in combat?
If you are good with Turret Steer, freighters can be nasty to fight. I'd focus on a freighter with good arcs and plenty of turrets, forward firepower doesn't matter so much as you will ideally always be in Turret Steering mode. Camara is good at that, and has an annoying profile to hit, but sadly no CD.
Dromedary doesn't have the powercore needed to hold the higher end class 1 turrets and it'll go zip about 5 seconds. The dromedary was cheap for a reason.
A Zoner that is not a zonerzonerzoner
Hi everyone. If this is undefined I am screwed for life.
By far, I think the base Freighter for pews. Good arcs, has CD, mine, CM, and can fit a cap 6. Its pretty much a miniture GB. I used it with both Buckshots and Reavers, its amazing.
EDIT: Ok, scratch that, I was using on my friends serer with Spec OP ID, so I didnt have nerfs. BHG ID and Grizzly is 75, which sucks with Buckshots and Reavers.
I flew a Battle-Drom in .85, and I rather liked it.
Fighters are difficult to take out in it, and you lack the fire power to take out a Gunboat, but bombers are good prey for a Battle-Drom, from my (outdated 4.85) experience.

a) You can fit CAU7 there.
b) Don't forget about amazing 190 nb/sb
c) Ye, it'll be better with freelancer ID, but it's good even with BHG one.
