BTW, why not use for example Ogre3D and DX9 or 10? GL is kinda getting obsolete...

I'd rather stick with being cross-platform (so I can actually run my own program) so OpenGL is what I'm sticking with. Also in the latest versions (4+) you have the same feature set of DirectX9 and DirectX10.
