Another resolution issues thread

Basically I got a new 19' monitor and it has some weird resolutions. Such as:
1280x768
1360x768
1280x720
Freelancer doesn't want to work with any of them.
Tried Discovery Launchpad, to set the resolution to my current one.
This happened.
I opened Disco FL the normal way, manually changed the resolution, and noticed 1024x768 is the max it would go.. That works, the chat is at the right position, but the graphics look really bad. Any suggestions?

Try starting Freelancer with the -dx parameter and see what that does...

try to set your resolution without disco launchpad.

But i dont know if it works with this strange resolutions

And i have 1440x900 monitor and have interface near center as yours(if i use disco launchpad)

Managed to make it work (sort of) with 1280x768, tweaked Hudshift a bit. It's not what it should be, but it's okayish. Would suffice for my simple needs.
