Jack was enjoying his small talk with Doreen when he heard the door buzz. In stepped the man he was hoping to see. Dr. John Henry Holliday. After Doc had spoken to Doreen and entered the room Jack looked up and replied to him.
"Greetings Mr. Holliday. I have heard alot about you over the past few days. I am glad to finally meet you. Any questions you have I will answer to the best of my ability. I do have some questions for you too though..."

Doc's datapad went off and he excused himself, taking the call outside in the hallway. When he returned, he didn't look happy. He stood next to Jack, his arms folded before him.
"I just got a message from an Agent Michael King," he explained, "he claims to be your probation officer and was wondering if you found your way here."
He paused a moment before continuing, "I told him that you were in my custody."
Doc took the chair next to him, turned it backward and sat facing the back, his arms resting on the back, "Mr. Daniels, you have some explaining to do, like what happened and why you put my staff in danger because I won't be happy if a bunch of Liberty agents come here. With security as tight as it is, it'll be ugly."
Doc sat and waited, keeping to himself that Liberty Law had no jurisdiction and wasn't too worried. He was, however, not happy.
Jack Swore under his breath then sighed. "I guess you found me out then Doc. My name isnt really Jack Daniels. Daniels is
my middle name. My name really is Jack White. Ex-Xeno. I was interred on Huntsville on charges of fraud, Hijacking, Firing upon an officer of the law, and now ignoring probation. I wont be suprised if you decide to turn me over to King. I wont be suprised if you kill me right here and now for bringing this drama into your facility. But please take into account that I said EX-Xeno. Im sick of running. Im sick of being in prison. I want to be a trader, A freelancer. Something. Your freind Eris seems to have taken a liking to me, as you can see by the crystal under my shirt on the table there. She told me to talk to you about a job. Please dont give me back to the system Doc."

There was a moment of silence as Doc processed what he said. He sounded sincere enough but he still had to be sure. In the back of his mind, he was still worried about what Liberty might do. He never moved from his chair, his arms still folded on the back of it as he sat chest against the backrest, the fingers of his right hand slowly drumming on his left forearm.
"It does sound like you have put yourself into a good spot of trouble doesn't it," he stated. "While I've had decent relations with the Liberty government, they can be stubborn and sometimes unforgiving. If Mr. King wants to come here, I won't deny him but he's not leaving with you."
He paused a moment, reaching over and taking the crystal and studying it,
"So Eris told you to come see me. That's might nice of her." He hmphed before continuing, "I've done a lot for her and she's never come to me. Maybe I'm not in as much need of her guidance as you are. Malaclypse did well with me I guess."
He put the crystal back on the table and returned to his chair.
"This is what I'm going to do. I'm going to help you. You may consider me your new probation officer. You need to prove yourself to me and my people that you seek a more peaceful lifestyle. It'll be awhile for you as I'll be transferring you to Med.Force.One in a couple of days to have my cybernetics expert look at you for an arm."
He took a breath, "You can start by being nicer to those around you so when Dr. Naggers stops in again, say a few nice words to her because she didn't start off well either."
Doc stood up and went to his left side, extending his hand, "If you're good with all I've said then shake on it."
Jack extended the arm that wasnt exploded into bits and shook John's hand.
"You know. I think when I get out of this mess I want to get a degree in medical. Something to repay my debts to society. I have killed mercilessly in the name of the Xenos. I want to do good. When I left prison I had planned to go back to the Xenos when I escaped, but I have given thought over the past week. I don't want to run anymore. I dont want to kill anymore. I hope you can accept me into your ranks and make use of me in a more peaceful light."
Jack layed his head back onto the pillow and sighed. This was the best and worst thing that could have happened to him.

Doc took a short break to read another incoming transmission on his datapad.
"Michael King seems to be quite the character," Doc said, "well..."
He then made a quick call to a guard. He wasn't human, was massive in size and was armed to the teeth with a large sidearm and a curved blade.
"A Michael King will be here soon to visit this patient," Doc told him, "he checks his arms at the front desk, no exceptions. Same goes for any companions he brings with him." He then pulled his jacket aside to reveal his two pistols, "you need not worry about me but do keep a man by the door." The guard nodded and left.
Doc took a seat next to Jack, "Well, Mr. White, maybe I'm being a bit over prepared but these government types seem to think their jurisdiction is everywhere. Of you, I will say this, it seems you will have a lot to prove to this man."
Jack groaned. King is here? Great... At least they are taking his weapons. If they let him keep them things could get ugly.
"I have nothing to prove to this man. He wont accept anything I say or do. He is LSF. They are cocky, arrogant, and always complain when they don't get their way. I am truly sorry for what I have brought upon your facility. He isn't going to just back down because I say some kind words to him. I can try, but I honestly don't think diplomatic "talking" means will work here."

"Yes, Mr. White, King will be here," Doc explained, "and he's told me that you will probably try to kill me, my staff and many others."
Doc looks at him where his missing arm was, "I highly doubt that unless you are that good. Anyway..."
Doc went back to his chair and turned it around before sitting in it facing him.
"He says you did some pretty gruesome things. Being a Xeno, I wouldn't doubt that but with me you have something in your favor....a few things in fact," Doc explained. "While I don't approve of the methods of the Xenos, I do understand why. Also, Xenos have always left Zoners be and right now, your fate is in the hands of Dr. Naggers before it is of me."
He sat forward a bit, "Time you quit running and start convincing people you want to change."
He then stood up and went to the door. He spoke to a large humanoid on the other side, "No one gets in this room but staff. An Agent King will be here soon. He doesn't enter without myself or Dr. Naggers present and you keep a very close eye on any men he brings with him. Use back-up if needed."
Doc returned, sitting in his chair and having a coffee delivered to him and his patient.
Jack sighed. He knew it was eventually going to come down to this.
Jack took the coffee from Doc. "Thank you. I do want to change. Back in prison I just wanted to escape. I planned to go back to my life as a Xeno. But after all of these encounters with Eris and reading the Principia I have decided I want to turn my life around. I dont want to fight anymore. I don't want to run anymore. Wether or not King wants to believe that I don't know. He probably wont. But I don't want to run anymore and I seriously don't want to go back to prison"
As Doc and Jack sat talking, Doreen entered the room. She was dressed for some vacation time. She wore a tight pair of jeans and a revealing cut-off shirt. Doc was taken aback by it.
"Well, John, you did say I should take some time off," she explained with a smile, "so Midori has Benjen. I'll be off to Hamburg."
"Do be safe," he answered, giving her a friendly hug.
"Too bad you're married, John," she teased.
She then handed him a folder, "Here is Jack's paperwork. He's your patient now."
With a kiss for her friend and mentor, she gave Jack a wink, "I'll check on you when I get back."
