Sadly, I was not able to fly transports today. Would have been interesting. If you redo this event again, I'll try to be there on the transport side with a hard-to-pirate convoy.

You won't make a lot of credits with high demands, you make a lot of blues instead, so you would lose the competition.
I like this idea. How about making it in-rp next time, some crazed boss-like Pirate offering a prize to those who pirate the most or something along those lines? And/or have a trader and a pirate event on at the same time to create lots of juicy targets for the pirate competition and nasty obstacles for the trader competition. I can contribute some credits for the prize if you can be bothered setting it up and running it.
Maybe I should have explained why it is a good idea.
1) It results in less 2milrdai 2secondslater engagabugen pirates.
2) It forces pirates to pirate a reasonable amount or they won't get paid.
3) It forces traders to resort to methods to escape piracy, be it a scout or a convoy.
So overall, it actually seems like a pretty good idea.

I'll take you up on this offer. If you want to donate to the prize, send the credits to BankofSterlin, any help would be appreciated.
I'll do this same thing next Saturday, at about the same time.
Also, I'll be doing a trading competition or something for the day after, Sunday. How exactly that's going to work I'm unsure though, because "the person to make the most money" isn't really gonna work too well, and it will just encourage people to power trade ores all day, kinda boring...
