I hope its Working allright...
I am now (I dont even exactly know where)
At a place called Lavidia shipyard...
From what the residents told me this place outfits
and sends out the biggest units of the Zoner group...
I dont have any footage of what I did before getting here
Because I had to run for my life once more
Now from a group of frenzied Nomads who were killing everything on their way!
I made more contacts with the Phoenix and now I am trying to work on some way to get to know them more. Iva If you are reading this know that I am terribly sorry for what have I done back there you will know what... I am not even sure if this transmission will make its way to our freeport... But why not try?
Thats all I have to say now
Oh another thing... Looks like I will be spanding some time here
Just to get to know this place better ITS AMAZING!
I will describe this place when I get back
I was out on a trade run a few days back, headed into Bretonia through Omega-3 where things got interesting.
I was traveling with a Freelancer in a Firefly who was so kindly helping load and unload the Bleu, my whale, in space when we noticed some fire around the Freeport. Long scans showed a large, yet neutral vessel. Upon closer arrival, we found it was a Corsair cruiser. He jumped in the trade lane with us, but when it got disrupted he asked us to stop. Given that Zoner relations with Corsairs are still slightly stressed, I gladly complied.
He assessed our load of silver and was pondering what his course of action would be. Some quick conversation was exchanged, him describing how quick he could scrap us, and me mentioning how quick the Bleus escape pods are. Being a friendly businessman and knowing when I'm staring down the barrel of a gun, I offered to share some of my silver with him as a gesture of good will.
There was a tense moment with my hand on the eject lever, however he sent me on my way still with my full load of silver. I thanked him for his generosity and even though he had demanded nothing from me, I sent him a measure of credits as my thanks.
Unfortunately for the Freelancer with me, he had a comms issue and could not answer the Corsair. He took offense to this and destroyed the Firefly. Since I had just been allowed passage, I was in no position to take offense to this. I alerted the Freeport to get a wing out there to look for escape pods and jumped into Cambridge.
Allow me to praise your choice of actions. You have hold onto and followed our policies and traditions and tried to solve the issues as less detrimental or problematic as possible with diplomacy and persuasion. Bon fait.
This shall be a reminder for everyone who sets in their journeys and encounter pirates. This is how we respond to them. Calling the necessary dial numbers to see their guts of ego and satisfaction spilled up afterwards is a totally different story.
I don't remember anyone of the Council to ever commission an escapade in the Omicrons. I am very disappointed.
However, such disappointed may miraculously vanish and make me think a second time before applying any punishments if you would take your time to explore the Omicrons, gather and research data about anything that could turn into a profit for the interests of our Fraternity. I want anything you find out reported back in detail with the necessary gun cameras. Nothing less, bien?
Moreover, your comm did indeed reach us so I expect this one to reach you back so do not attempt to ignore it.
As long as the animals won't slaughter our guests and their presence will boost the beauty of the Sylvania Dome I am fine with it. Just make sure they are not individuals of those protected Gaian species as I do not want complications with any laws, police corporations or third parties, bien?
Merci beaucoup for the present by the way. Au revoir
Haven't you personally call for the cancellation of the wager? As far as I know, you did! And it shall stay that way.
Regarding fining all those individuals that fought up there, would you think it's a good idea to fine such a high number of soldiers, warriors and mercenaries, in a nutshell, people with guns and combat ships at the same time?
I personally wouldn't want to be greeted by dozens of blasters pointed at me whenever I undock from Freeport 10.

* As soon as Zakir lands on the base he takes the fastest route to Roberts office
When he meets him there he throws a data pad on his desk and says* Afternoon... Good to see you again! I am returning with the Data you asked for in the comm Its cut mainly to the most important stuff because I didnt have enough time to get all the data straight... Theres just too much of it for a fighter...And I made some contacts with the Phoenix
Nice bunch we could make few deals with them *He takes out a small bottle and tkaes a sip* Also I wanted to apologize *It can be seen that telling these words comes to him at great difficulty* I was used to work alone... I never had a boos or anyone like that so Im sorry that I took off so soon without any warning or anything alike... But anyway... Check the pad... See if you find anything useful on it...
I also need to apologize to Iva... I dont know if she told you anything...
I wont... or atleast now... *Takes another sip*
*** Omicron maps ***
*** Data from the Star Shield ***
Theta... That system works mainly as a crossroad...
Nothign of value or worth exploiting found...
It only contains few jump holes to other systems
The only base there is that Freeport 9
Zoner base... Few nice fellas on it.
But nothing more
Omicron-74
The main system of many Zoner roups in the Omicrons
Thats the place where those might Juggernauts and Carriers
are bulit... They also have better equiped patrols there and
some stationary defenses... Phoenix has their annex at lavidia
and they call it "Lavidia Palace"
Theres also a ZA Comm station at the Theta Jump hole
Kappa...
Another hub like Theta
Nothing worht our interest... Maybe only for the AI planet... But its atmosphere is to toxic for humans so...
Its main reason is to connect few other systems
Delta
Another system inhabited by Zoners...
With their base in the Freeport 11
Theres nothing to mine here
They have a nice price on Iridium there...
It can sell nice in few places
Also the Nomad activity gets stronger here...
And there are a lot of them ...
The main groups found in the omicrons are
-The Order
-Zoners
-Phoenix
-Corsairs
-Outcasts (Sometimes)
-Bounty Hunters
Your report was well received, just like I said when you gave it to me personally, and I also took the liberty of broadcasting it to this frequency.
You have almost risen up to my level of expectation. Bon fait.
Achille may know how to handle this information in the better way, but as far as I am concerned, there won't be any need for any Omicron Expeditions in the near future, unless Achille states otherwise.
That being said, you are free to return to your studies on the Freeport 10, Zakir.
Au revoir

This is Sean speaking...Sean Goodwin. I just returned from the Omicrons. Something terrible happened. Zakir...he...he didn't made it out.
When Zakir asked me to join him on a trip to the Omicrons, I couldn't deny. I had never seen them before, and when he mentioned that over there would be a jumpgate of alien technology I was very curious, because I heard of such an object before. A freelancer once told me that one was supposed to be in Liberty.
Zakir and I met at the Sigma-17 jumpgate in Sigma-19. We flew further until we arrived at Omicron Theta jumphole in Sig-17. We crossed Theta, Kappa, Delta and Zeta without incident. In Zeta, we took a jumphole to Omicron Minor. First, I couldn't see anything but debrid and dustclouds, but the view I then got let me shiver. In the middle of Minor, the nebula suddenly cleared up and a planet appeared. Or more like what's left of it. Zakir told me, that Minor once was the setting of a battle between the Order, Bounty Hunters and nomads. I never saw such before. The surface looked completely devastated and radiation gnewed on our ships, so we soon left.
Minor is no system anymore. It's a graveyard. A graveyard, with all his attackers and defenders buried.
We moved on to our main destination; the jumpgate. While we looked at it, Zakir wanted to get a scan. I told him not to. I told him that we should get back to the Freeport. I told him that we could activate it, but he insisted on going ahead, so I joined in. I wish I didn't. While we were still scanning it, it suddenly activated itself and pulled us inside of it.
On the other side, we were completly mind-blown. Infront of us laid...well...I don't know. It looked like some kind of...a floor? I first thought we were on a giant planet, because of the floor-like thing, but then we recognized a small sun and a dry planet. I told him to return, to not go further. He didn't listen, so I followed him.
When we came closer, we arrived at some kind of a lock, with rifts around it. As we were about to scan it, suddenly... 'it' appeared. A giant, blue...something. 'It' flew and it looked organic. Zakir told me to back off, so I made a turn, ready to leave. But when I looked back, I saw him firing a torpedo at 'it'. I told him to get back. I yelled at him to stop fighting and start running! He fired over and over again at 'it', but it didn't seem to even make a scratch. 'It' destroyed Zakir's engines, and he floated away. I tried to get him out of there, but his pod was stuck. He yelled, telling me to run. Then 'it' finished him. I couldn't belive my eyes, when I saw his ship bursting out. 'It' turned, pointing 'it's' guns at me. I enabled cruise and ran. I jumped back to Minor. It felt like returning to the graveyard, after visting the catacombs.
I flew back to Zeta. To Delta. I can't remember what happened after that. I woke up at Freeport 11, with a few broken ribs and a bad headache. The feeling I had back there...I never felt such strong fear before. I felt like a little child facing it's worst nightmares.
I'm sorry. I couldn't get Zakir out of there. I'm really, really sorry. I will visit my wife now. I need some days off.
*Iva is sitting in front of her console in her room
as she reads trough the report her mouth opens wider and wider
Tears slowly start to fall down as she whispers*
That... That... It cant be true...
He couldnt... No...
*The tears were coming... one after another... faster and faster...*
It cant be happening... It shouldnt... Noooo
*She looks at the guncam footage until she comes to the last one
that shows Zakirs ship bursting in flames*
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
* Iva smashes the console nearly breaking it and runs out of the room
With the last guncam still on the screen slowly fading to pure blackness
as the console turns to the "Stand by mode"*

Monsieur Goodwin,
As a member of the Commerce branch, you absolutely had no reason to be there. Your lack of knowledge or expertise in different subjects that only a member of the Research Branch would possess could had easily bring you a similar fate as Zakir's.
The Commonwealth cannot afford to have member's of its fraternity to endanger themselves with such risks. Risks which are also increased by a possible lack of knowledge or expertise. I am glad that you are unscratched.
About the incident, I suggest you forget about it completely. Forget that it ever happened and that you ever went to the Omicrons. Possible consequences and aftermaths of this incident as well as the calculation of any possible decisions are now under deliberation.
My condolences. I am sure Zakir meant a lot for you.
He had... a great variety of talents and assets and a... unique personality.
The incident that brought his downfall was unfortunately, a mistake done by him. That is why, in order to honour him as the man he was supposed to be, and not stain his honour or nobility, I suggest we all forget this last incident ever happened, bien?
I personally want Zakir to be remembered as a diligent and capable man, powerful and ambitious.
If you ever need something, do tell me s'il vous plait.
