Now, this may sound strange at first, but hear me out: This will not really solve the problem at all, but it would be marvellously fun. I propose a "Blue Flu" (to anyone who doesnt know, historically thats a day on which an entire police force in a city calls in sick in order to avoid having to deal with some sort of major mafia crime) day! A day in which not one single LSF, LPI, or any other cop logs on, and they instead go on any pirate/terrorist character they have, and spend the whole day blowing up the indies.
Just thought it was a cool idea. Feel free to shoot me down:))
If they move to other systems we go hunt them there. We shoot them until they are out of our controlled systems and clear of our trade routes. Then they would be on somebody elses soil. So they can do the same. The thing is, we need to make Disc not a very friendly place for these people. Then they will leave. We cant just ask them nicely.

As much as I dislike the Rheinland military, maybe we could learn from their... intolerance.
From what I heard, they open fire on anyone not obeying by their law. We could do something similar, set up an intolerance act and drive away the (disloyal? Dishonoured...) Corsairs.
However, this act wil make us incredibly weak against our enemies we have today and they could very well profit from that situation.
Ofcourse, we could make deals with them... temporarily cease-fires, even with our archenemies, to cleanse our system. I can imagine they would like to get rid of dishonourable Corsairs as much as we do.

This is a good plan BUT..... i have met a few cap ship using independents on my missions/patrols, and have had a small discussion with them, explaining the situation. At the end they aggred with me and went and bought a fighter or a bomber. Therefore this dosent apply to all independents. I say reason with them first, and if they dont listen, then use force.

This is what I mean, and Praetyre hit it on the head.
Players RPing with Liberty Navy, or any other FL Faction IDs and Tags are not independents. If they want to RP as members of these factions, they must join the existing player faction for the corresponding FL Faction. In fact, the reason these players remain "independent" is because of several of these reasons:
-They don't want to RP a command structure.
-They want to fly capships.
Frankly, if you are going to join a military, rule one is going to exist at all times. The 2nd part, I think that everyone can agree that it will be good.
Now, independents are persons wearing generic IDs. Those people have free reign. If persons don't want to be part of a command structure, etc... they need to use the generic IDs.

RP message:
Transmission From
Corsairs, Pilot, Ben Laowai, Titan Reg: Old Laowai
Captain Corsair Gunboat, Outsider
Captain, Corsair Cruiser: Xibanya Nuren.
Sir, i have read your proposal and after careful consideration i must say i find it disgraceful. That any Corsair who respects the blood of his people would even consider forming a truce with our enemies to allow him freedom to fire upon other Corsairs is an inconsiderable act and completly treasonous. That these words were even spoken in public is an underhanded deed that will only give comfort to our enemies and weaken the Corsair nation as a whole. Dishonoured Corsairs? you house rats wear your badges of pride and wealth far too high and you presume far too much that your positions give you the right to speak for all Corsairs. I am an independent Corsair, I fly a capital ship, and i stand for the honour of my people and for Crete. Not once, have i ever entertained the notion of firing on a Corsair vessel and you sir disgrace the name of ALL corsairs by even speaking such a notion. I am honour bound to defend you, should i find you being fired upon by our enemies, but after your proposal here, to do so will leave a sick taste in my mouth.
Our personal political issues are our own, and should not be entertained with talk of aid from our enemies. Were you not a brother Corsair, and a badge wearing TBH member, i would personally put you against a wall and shoot you myself
Yours
Ben Laowai.
//OOC - one independent Corsairs RP view on how this situation could be seen, IN RP. Not saying it fixes the wider problem... but here's a RP take on it.
