P3d supports textures as well. Check my signature > XShuttle replacement.
Oh, and just make your works public so we could check them out.
Personally, I just wanted to see your style, not talking about submission or so.
(Broken Bonds by any chance, btw?)
As for textures in P3d, I'm not sure how to do it. Also, P3d accepts .obj files, but I don't model in .obj format, I model in SketchUp and then convert the model, maybe that's the problem. I dunno.

Here's a ship, it's supposed to be a luxury ferry/liner (in the sense that it's not a huge liner meant to travel in space for several months, it just carries people around, but with all the luxury of a liner).

And here's the medicean counterpart to the station I posted at the beginning (that one was built for the Southern Cross, the other main faction).
Thanks man Part of the reason of those "simple shapes" is that we were constantly worried of not straining Freelancer's old engine with a high polycount. Of course, another reason is that I'm just an amateur, I would MAYBE be able to make more detailed works, but not much more. Also I'm terrible at texturing, so the simple shapes make that a bit easier. ^^'
