Missed the games from today up until now. I should be able to watch all of today matches. It will be epic. Alliance performs very nice. They're in Group 2, and are unbeaten. iG, not as strong as they used to be at TI2, only performing 6/6 so far. VP don't have a good tournament either, they just have two wins and ten losses.
Interesting to see so far.
The tournament is formed in such way that preliminaries don't mean that much. Everyone still has a chance to win the championship, even the MUFC with their 0-12. Na'Vi failed bad last year in prelims, but managed to get to the finals.
My personal prediction (or favorite matchups would be)
Na'Vi winning against Orange, and then Na'Vi against Alliance in the finals.
I am not quite sure who will win yet. My personal favorite is Na'Vi, they have been since the first International, but Alliance played fantastic throughout the tournament. I think it is likely that Alliance will win the tournament, but I personally hope that Na'Vi wins.
But, whatever will happen, I look forward to it. So far, the tournament has been pretty enjoyable.
/edit That third game between Na'Vi and Orange was just intense. When they finally managed to shut the Bane & OD down, Na'Vi really turned the tide. I think it was one of the biggest comebacks ever. A good item was the Abyssal Blade, without that it would've been far more difficult to shut both Bane & OD down. Concluding, awesome plays by both teams, I would've been happy if either Orange or Na'Vi won, but in the end Na'Vi was better, or simply was better.
I think the accidental Aegis deny was very unfortunate for Orange and quite possibly also threw the game for them.
Excellent game. Couldn't believe that comeback, i would have given up in such situation. Huge lead, huge comback, incredible. The deny thing was unfortunate, don't know if it would affect the game that much though. Truly best teams got to finals. Hope NaVi doesn't throw.
