A destroyer captain mentioned your company in passing to one of my pilots in the New Caldedonia system a few days ago. The implication was that you may want to do business with us.

A casual investigation has turned up little, but the information we do have is somewhat... concerning. Specifically, your history of work with the military forces of Rheinland. So rather than sneaking around about it, I thought I'd contact you directly and hear it in your own words.

We are open to business, as Octavarium is always in need of skilled individuals. We just need to know a few more details about your company before we can go ahead with any official offers. Who you are, what you do, that sort of thing.

Greetings to the Natio Octavarium,
let us introduce ourself. We are Grunder Industries, an small independent company mainly working for the IMG or the Zoners.

About our Rheinland history, we left Rheinland during the Nomad Wars 20 years ago, because we didn't want to follow a dictatorship which is now, not better.
If you have any question and details, you can ask us every time but for now we will stop it "our black spot in our history".

As we said already, we work mainly for the IMG and Zoners. Planetary Defense Weapons and Scanner research are currently our main subject. Our current project "Stonehenge" is our best example. An Electromagnetic Weapon, against outer space threats like asteroids, ballistic Missiles etc.

For the scanner research, we have our "Aigaion" an IMG Battlecruiser, approved by the Guildmaster. We are testing the "Adler" Scanner System, which will improve the detection range for resources. A little example, we found on the planet Baja small water sources, which are 20 miles under the ground.

The other offers:
Capital Ship Protection with our Aigaion, which is not only research ship.
Moving and delivering resources.
Gathering Information about other parts of Sirius.
Exploration of Systems.

Hm, interesting. Our files on Rheinland aren't as thorough as I would have liked. No matter.

Your request is agreeable. We will, of course, want to make use of some of that technology - not without paying, naturally.

If you'd like a planetary installation, please consult our map for a desired location. The majority of our settlements are on the island of New Vancouver, so I would recommend something in the vicinity. Britannia Beach, pictured in the New Vancouver local map, could be a good location if you need something secluded; the island's about a hundred and fifty kilometers long, though it does have a mountain in the middle.

If you had a different location in mind, keep in mind that Stanley is reserved for our military installations, Hope is privately owned (apparently someone had more dollars than sense) and Lanus is completely off limits. And Alexander is in use by another group.

While an installation on Britannia Beach - or even use of the entire island - is available free of charge, larger ones would not be. Smaller installations would be available within the City of New Vancouver, so long as no heavy weapons testing were to happen. Further, nothing with any kind of lingering radiation is permitted at any location on New Westminster, and anything involving an electromagnetic pulse must go through myself or Harold Kane for approval.
