If "our base" is a Player Owned Base, this happens every time when you dock on a planet after undocking from a player base. For a temporary fix, dock on a station before docking on the planet. This issue has been reported several times already.
Question: was mining turned back on with this update?
Found another one. dsacesrv.cfg shows fam.exe and flcompanion.exe as prohibited processes. When I go to the main server with either of those processes running, it doesn't kick me. Here's why. I'm on a 64 bit machine. In my task manager, the image name is fam.exe*32 and flcompanion.exe*32. Someone using them on a 32 bit machine would get kicked but you can use them on 64 bit machines. Should be the same for all, whether you're on a 64 bit or 32 bit machine.
I come up with the most clever ideas I could think about: how we should bring more action, aside of trading, to earn a lot of money?
FIRST. Since the GRN seems to be the main enemy to the Sirius, why not include the special credit chips onto killed GRN units - this would encourage players to go to Leeds and play as Kusari Exiles or BAF, and vice versa, put those credit chips onto BAF/KE vessels for profit to a GRN player. The bigger the vessel, the bigger value of the chip (let's say or 10 million for battleship.)
SECOND. Since the Liberty and Rheinland war goes on, the same idea of credit chips would apply to both LN and RM vessels. Just a bit fixed due to the diffrent scale of, actually, border war.
-----
THIRD. In place of previous two, why not include a special payment system on the server - for the Navy/Police vessels - which would read, hmmmmm, spent hours or shot down vessels? Why I came up with that idea? Because players acts as the Navy or Police doesn't really get paid (or do they from the faction money?) It's a job, so why wouldn't players get paid for that? Shooting down, patroling and so on is also a job. It's not a mercenary, who get paid by a player-trader. It's not a pirate, who just stalk on the tradelanes and scare the traders.
Umm.... after the auto update starts, and starts updating, it stops when about 4135000 bytes left, it says " failed to read file (I can't remember the number)".
I tried to delete 4.87 and reinstall it, then auto update again, but same problem occurs again!
HELP!!!!!
Is there some reason why there are 43 less entries in the ships database? There are 436 ships in the databse in 4.86 and 393 ships in the database in 4.87.
I'm sure you didn't delete any ships, cause that would cause major problems, like character corruption if a player had a ship that was no longer in the database. The reason I ask this is that I develop tools for ADMINs and I usually include a ship.dat or universe.dat file with my tools to make it quicker to read the information.

Patriot, Defender, and Starflier are all there in 4.87. So says the items list in DSAccountManager and yes, I changed the Freelancer and Ioncross directories to point to 4.87 and then rescanned the game files and restarted DSAccountManager.

...
There were multiple redundant entries for vanilla and npc ships that were removed for v4.87.
