Yeah, pretty much ....
And really, guys, if you want to make your talk system wide, how damn hard is it to go
/s Hello, Mr. Pirate, are you here to rob me here along this trade lane between Manhattan and Detroit?
Oh, gee, look - now you're on system chat, I know that typing /s first is SO difficult ....
It is true that I do not really understand what you want Tunicle. Imagine that the chat is set on system by default, what will prevent players from using a /l ? Thereupon, is it possible to bind a /s on one key and a /l on another one ?

Want? It was not a want but a suggestion, for discussion, to try and instill more RP "activity" into a system.
System is the original default not local.
Stating that using /s solves it works equally well as an argument whether local or system is chat default, so not really an argument.

I am not stating that... I am just saying that you can't prevent players to rp in local if they want.

Bad idea, ever used system chat to RP?
I have done it...and every time I get half the people in the system telling me to shut the ---- up, because I am clutering the chat list.
Go try it in a system like NY and you will see what I mean.
And just think...it would be so annoying to get a "hello" in system every 3 seconds.
So I say no. They made local because it would be a pain without it.
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT I SAID, IT MATTERS WHAT I MEANT!!!!

For most active systems at least.
Iunno why people think this is a bad thing, I still disagree with the local chat being the standard one.
