Use of Console Messages?

I like the idea of this. But DBoy puts a good point foward the console messages do disrupt The RP abit maby if you could some how make the Console privatly message each player and say it as a console PM so it dosent disrupt usual RP, if you know what i mean. I sign this

I fail to see a single reason why to do that only for lawful factions, such as SA, LSF, LPI, RM, KNF and QCO.
I mean, why are they special?
And by the way, I don't know if you people are aware, but in Liberty space, there is like 3x more lawfuls then unlawfuls.
Next step would be "Join TBH or RoS" etc etc.
Why would some factions have a special treatment?

Anyway, agreed with Dboy, just tell them to come here and join whoever they like.

I only gave that as an example. Unlawfuls would get a similar message. As would trader/smuggler factions etc.

They don't need to repeat that often. Once an hour, maybe less often?

So here are the messages. God we have a lot of unlawful factions. Some factions (like Bs) may have been mischaracterised. Obviously the Invite Only factions (Phantoms, Angels, SCRA, and LH (as per Xoria), Ind, Keepers) are not mentioned.

Message 1 : Lawfuls

"Membership in the Official Discovery Factions is Encouraged. The primary lawful factions are the [SA], LSF, and LPI in Liberty, [RM] in Rheinland, [KNF] in Kusari, QCRF and BPA in Bretonia, and Bs (Black Squadron : Order)"

"Speak to members in-game about joining, and visit discoverygc.com and search for the "Faction Status" page to learn more"

Message 2 : Unlawfuls

"Membership in the Official Discovery Factions is Encouraged. The primary unlawful factions are the TBH & Benitez (Corsairs), the 66th/101st/202nd & ROS (Outcast), as well as the UOG (Mollies), HF (LH), RHA, GC, NLH (Gaians) and Nova PG."

Message 3 : Trading and Misc Factions

"Membership in the Official Discovery Factions is Encouraged. Trading factions are Repex, FTS, and the BLS (Smugglers) Miscellaneous factions are the TAZ (Zoners), CR (Colonial Remnant) and the Cylons.

Message 4 : Mercs/BH's

But I think that's a bit too many messages.

First, you need to know if some factions you stated want those new recruits.
Limit messages only to those who really need recruits.
I don't think we need more lawfuls in SA and LSF, but that's just my thought.

Errr, it's semi-lawful. But, just stick us under the Lawful category I suppose. And as for the messages you wrote, I think those will do just fine. ^_^
