Use of regens does matter to the outcome of a fight. That's because regen count doesn't scale together with the ship armor. Some lightly armored ships have more regens for their armor, than ships with heavier armor.

Elaborate, please. No matter, how I look at my statement it still seems right.
Lets say:
Ship A has 5250 base armor and 44 regens. With AU8 it's 13125. Add regens - 79125. It can regen itself 5 times.
Ship B has 7900 base armor and 46 regens. With AU8 it's 19750. Add regens - 88750. It can regen itself 3.5 times.
Without regens ship B has 1.50x the total armor capacity of ship A.
With regens ship B has 1.12x the total armor capacity of ship A.
So, provided similar skill levels, with regens ship A has a higher chance of winning, than without regens.

P.S. I haven't made these numbers up. Ship A is Manaslu and Ship B is Marauder.

Well, it really depends on your reasons for being in Conn.

The challenge is to roleplay in any vessel you get - on GC. (still i hope)

But in gerneral you need to use full ordinance when doing practice (regardless of Conn or elsewhere) since this mod is balanced this way.

If you just wanna do pvp for fun, just ask, as already mentioned.

Also, I know it's enough to agree upon it before pew, but you know, sometimes you forget to ask, then when you regen the other goes "STOP U USE REGEN STOP!". People seem to consider "no regens" as the default stance, but it's not so default if not eveyone knows or agrees. Hence the purpouse of this poll.

Nah. Exactly because it's a RP server, we need some place where we can train withour RP in the way.

On that note, I have a suggestion for admins: whenever someone is sanctioned for engaging without notice or other ooRP-pew related stuff, jail them in Conn Who knows, some of them might even enjoy it and never want to leave
