Isn't that the sort of PVP decisions we are trying to discourage, while trying to get people to play the trengths and weaknesses of their selected factions.
Just a couple more cents I found and thought I'd fling around.
Yo Kambei, not productive, let's not taunt the Liberty forces, they are trying to RP if you've got a disagreement follow their example, RP it.
As for armour, sure why not go with armour upgrades you don't have to fly halfway across sirus to get and then you die every fight, because your opponents see MkVIII armour upgrades as universal kit. Fun killer, real quick. I play a Xeno, which normally means an hour of propaganda and then a twenty minute dogfight and me in pieces, I'd like that dogfight to last long enough to make a good account of myself, no MkVII armour upgrade and it'll be a two minute dogfight, as my Crow turns into shiny metallic fragments from roughly 36 class 9 weapons. Yeah I end up fighting in Manhattan but there's no bugger in any other Liberty system who I can propoganda at. Please don't take what little chance I have in my fighter away. The Xenos would wither, and I loves my Xenos.

Sure... No armor. I'll fly a ship made of plastic wrap tomorrow. Anywho, I disagree with the statement of the lack of armor making it a two minute dogfight. My ping is... Above average, and on most of my characters, I don't have any armor... I usually at least succeed in surviving, if not killing anybody.
You've not been in a crow fighting everything that manhattan has to offer a Xeno trying to make a point, have you? Normally there's a cruiser or at least a gunboat, and sometimes you get Spear, although not so much recently, he can make my day go boom quite quickly. But never less than four fighters giving us the hoofing we just don't deserve.

' Wrote:Is it OORP for a Corsair (ID + Tag) to run a trade vessel? I assume no, because the ID says Corsairs can trade. However, is it still OORP for said trader Corsair to dock on lawful bases? The other day I saw two Corsair traders dock on Leeds, deposit cargo then make a run for it. If Corsair fighters and other ships are so tightly frowned up when docking on lawful bases, does that apply to Corsair traders as well?
I would think it is normal for any faction to have supply vehicles. However if I was there enemy I'd also want to target these supply vessels to cut their funding and thus weaken the enemy.
So, I would say yes the Corsairs can have supply ships but shame on the BPA for not stopping them. And I'd say if an enemy ship supply ship lands on planet then no matter what they are carrying they are smugglers at LEAST.

You surely mean shame on those players dokcing on a lawful base with a corsair ID and tag.
The BPA shouldn't have to try and stop people OoRP trading.
Better yet, screenshot it and do a sanction report, if they get sanctioned you know they shouldn't be doing it, they don't and you know it's ok for them to do it.
I know what you mean about them landing on a planet they legally shouldn't but this sort of thing happens.
Ask the Coast gaurd where all the Cubans come from. They kinda illegally landed on Florida beaches and now here they are. So just because its not "allowed" doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I personally would never send a sanction report to the admins unless some one is being terriblly rude to the gamers at large but, for a small fries event like that I'd handle in character. We know what everyone thinks of taddle tales don't we.
Plus they may have some in character reason we don't know for this, and it would be poor taste I think to whip out the rule book when something happens I dont readily understand and start sending senction reports flying, over what may be an innocent mistake done by a noob or some in character event we our selves are not privy too. So, while the screen it and report it answer is not wrong it is rather aggressive when maybe all facts aren't known. Just remember, if you want to be treated like that the instant you don't act like an NPC.
Hey a couple more cents I found, I might be up to a quarter almost.:yahoo:
' Wrote:Would I be right in interpreting that (in terms of the bundschuh example) to mean that you wouldn't sanction said Bundschuh for docking at, say, Houston, as long as you didn't have evidence he was misbehaving/had evidence he was asking politely for temporary asylum? That specific example is somewhat relevant to me particularly as I am interested in starting up a bundie. On that note, would I have to ask Daumann/Kruger types for cargo (then destroy it) or could I simply attack them after giving fair warning and identifying targets? ("Death to the true enemies of Rheinland!" or "For what you have done to my family and my nation, you must die! FOR RHEINLAND!!!")
Although the pirate vs terrorist ID thread was active for awhile it seems to have died down without getting finished; perhaps some feedback on the 'guide' (pg 3) and amendments?
