I wish to congratulate you. You have done something I did not really expect. You almost broke our authentication mechanism. I genuinely feel humbled and wish to pay you my deepest respect. Reapers can be proud.
The message you have intercepted and decoded, as you have undoubtedly figured out, was not meant for you. It is directed mainly to our sympathizers in Liberty who do not have the means to contact us. Its distributed nature allows us to smuggle fragments of code into various broadcasts. While the puzzle can be rather easily solved even by the Little Squeaky Fiends, it is technically impossible to trace a read and thus allowing our potential recruits to contact us safely, even if they are under strong surveillance. The encryption key allows us to retrieve the message and verify it.
And you have almost broke it. You have correctly assumed Rijndael 256 bit algorithm, but most likely used wrong encryption key and initialization vector, and thus received a false positive. The key was simply hashed name of our organization while the vector was simply the hashed key. And you were also correct that the key contained coordinates, however, only in the fourth dimension.
If I was wearing a hat, I would say that it is off to you. Now we will have to change some of our security protocols.
I am proud to hear something like that.It will motivate our special decryption team to continue decrypting intercepted messages around Sirius, and even end a war that has not even started, which was not the case in this message.
Reapers Of Sirius do not have any sort of interest in the happenings around Liberty, but this gave our team a little bit of training on the side of technology and computerization.
That's boring. You got any more entertaining puzzle games on your neuralnet servers these days or am I going to have to go back to the Colony News Network's daily sudoku?
I am flattered by the attention of the devil himself! I hope you are in good health. Mr Trigger was incredibly happy about the direct SNAC hit which he delivered to your personal bomber, however, I was genuinely worried that something could had happened to you. Let me tell you a story. I am not a good story teller, so forgive me poor quality of the delivery.
There was a kid whose entire family was killed in a mob war somewhere on Manhattan. Seeing his parents and siblings in a pool of blood he swore a revenge on people responsible for his tragedy. He devoted his entire life to infiltrate the underworld and rise in the ranks of the organization. He had to commit despicable crimes in order to prove himself, but by paying this great price he finally got close enough to the leader of the crime syndicate and fulfilled his revenge. However, after doing it, instead of celebrating he cried all night. Do you know why?
They say that because he devoted his entire life to the revenge, the death of his arch-enemy left him with nothing else in his life. That our hero turned into an empty shell without any purpose. That the only person he really knew and could really understand him was dead.
While your concern is certainly flattering, I am in fact quite fine and in good health. So whomever is the hero or arch-nemesis, they are healthy enough to continue their lives of hatred and revenge. Though I'm more concerned about you.
Where is your group headed? Are your goals even that beyond greed now?
If money is what you're after, Ageira certainly makes more.
I've heard all of your propaganda over the years, and even from one of your pilots long in the past when I was a simple escort, and I have to wonder.
