Weird, it also showed another exe that was malware from the same program, except it was in my appdata files. I'm sure it's nothing though, I was just a bit alarmed.
Where are the logs of what players come online at what times/locations/etc stored? I'm interested in using it to monitor my factions activity more closely.

It's not logged ATM, only systems can be logged. I might add the function if you really want it though.

Well... It's been a while i wanted to give my two cents about this app.
Here we go.
I totally frown at this thing.
Let's consider those scenarios : - I totally dislike the player X and i know he owns chars A, B and C. I will use this app to stalk those chars and get an event every-time they log so that i can bully them.
- Char Z got a blue message from me. Time to get a revenge kill. Let's just set an alert when this char logs so that i can hunt him and get my vital revenge.
- I like to pirate. Let's just put an event when people enter in system X so that i can log my char F1'd near Jump Lane Y.
- I enjoy to blow up bases because why not. Again i can use this base to look for an easy target.
You would probably say : 'But hey, there is online players list and POB list online anyway, all i do is using this data and providing helpers.'.
Yes. But it's not as easy to stalk people with those.
Actually, if it was up to me, those two lists wouldn't exist at all. Or at least would only reveal the char name and the POB name.
Now don't get me wrong. You have done quite some nice work with this. Parsing the HTML must have been fun and all.
But to me, this app just results in more bad than good, granted how Discovery community behaves generally.
And we all know how retarded and mean it can generally be.
I found out there were some private paid services like this s/w, and some well-known groups use them - and officials too. I just made it public.
W could be used in defence too - notifying of bullies (why the hell not to report him?), enemy raids, etc etc.
Base keeping is simpler as well - since it's the attacker who chooses the time to attack. Attacking side could just watch the webpage, and keeper won't even know what hitted him.

No. I understood you wanted to have fun coding something that would help others. It's cool; Thumbs up.
Your app isn't giving much advantage to the one bullied, actually. How would you know the char who hunted you yesterday and the one hunting you today is belonging to the same player or the same group of players?
The fact official groups are using it isn't giving much holyness to it, in my humble opinion.
Let's see... Note i use official factions names as examples only.
[LN] players use this app and marked LR- tag. Cool. They now don't have any effort to do to act against Liberty Rogues.
Why would they even log to patrol their ZOI, thus giving opportunities to others players to interract with them? Easier to just launch the app, mark who you want to interract with and be done with it, right?
With this, people just end up interracting mainly with people they -want- to interract with. Where did the random encounters fun go?
Now... Imagine LR- people marked [LN] tag as well. They won't log if they don't see [LN] online, because boring. [LN] won't log either because boring.
Well done. Nobody logs.
All this isn't helping in anyway to increase the fun of everyone playing. You just have your little interest circles. So do others. Everything out of those circles will just be ignored further, because why would people log when there is seemingly no one interesting to interract with?
Pirates : Let's just mark all lawfuls tags. Everytime they log, i will just F1 or leave their ZOI. Where the fun to rolleplay enforcing laws went?
To sumarize, I find this rather sad.
Looks like laziness, again, is rewarded. You end up being disaventaged if you don't use a stalking program. Your attempt to not metagame too much by using the online list just desserves you.
