Greetings,
I have a nasty bug that won't let me play.
When I start up Freelancer I get to the first loading phase, where the "Freelancer Conquest" image shows up, then it minimizes, stays like that for a few seconds and I get the "don't send" error.
Please locate your FLSpew.txt file (C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Freelancer\FLSpew.txt under Windows XP, C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Freelancer\FLSpew.txt under Vista/7/8), post it on either Pastebin or Pastie, and link the resulting post here. This will help determine what point in the process of loading the game causes it to crash.

Alright, I will do that when I get home from work. Thank you sir.
Do you have any old singleplayer saves that you haven't deleted/moved? You can find them in the "Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts" folder. Just cut and paste them out of the folder if you want to keep them and try again.
EDIT: Or probably the one below me, judging by the FLSpew file. I'd expect it to output something else if this was just a save issue, but I can't say that I've looked at the FLSpew output from one of those before.
