New Pelicans!
3 new Armored Transports have been donated to new graduates by the Academy! The cost including the on board credits ($5,000,000) comes to a total of $25 million spent on each Pelican, if you are a new graduate, please visit the Cadet shipyard!
This just in, 2 "Osprey MK II" Zoner Long Range Escort's have also been added, $35 million spent on each ship!

Academy sources have learned of a major meeting that took place in Omega 9, hosting this meeting was Mr Prescott, administrator of Freeport 101, site of the historical meeting. Also in attendance was Mr Rouch, administrator of Cameron Solar Base in Omega 9, Mr Voncloud in personal from Omicron Supply Industries, Admiral Michal Golansk of The Order, Mr. Henderson from the Independent Miners' Guild. Also in attendance were members of the Kruger and ALG factions as well as several Zoners.

One of the main topic's of discussion was the stance toward the Omega pirate guild's threat to Freeport's and the safety of commerce and transport in Omega sectors. Something that concerns all Zoners everywhere.

The historic meeting came under attack several times, first by the Wilde who were repelled, and latter several skirmishes took place with the OPG's and Hessians. The no fire zone of the Freeport however was respected.

We are please to announce that the academy has recently given away an Osprey to fellow zoner Taigam. We wish him well in all his endeavors. We currently still have a Osprey and 3 Armored Transports to give away with more ship soon to be acquired.
Academy acquires new colony ship
The Academy has for some time now had a "Nephilim" colony ship. Retro fitting has been underway for some time now to transform it into the new home of the Zoner Academy as our "Fearless" has been long out grown with the numbers of children that have we have been taking in.
It is our hope that with this new facility and its much larger size, we will be able to provide much greater protection to our charges and will eliminate all space concerns. Currently many of our children have been living in this new facility and are shuttled to the academy for there classes, but we hope withing the next month or two to have the new state of the art class facilities completed so shuttling will no longer be necessary and we will be able to once again be self contained in a single ship.
This new colony ship will allow us to keep our promise to the zoner community to never turn any orphaned zoner child away. Our old destroyer will then become a guard ship for the academy providing yet even more protection for our institution.
New disturbing reports out of Omega 9
Omega 9
There are multiple disturbing reports coming out of Omega 9. The first is that the Independent Miners Guild have declared the northern asteroid fields as there territory. This of course does not sit well with our friends and allies "The Order" nor does it sit well with the Zoners of Freeport 101.
Many other groups are weighing in on this claim of IMG and it doesn't look good. It is our believe that the situation has the potential to escalate into full blown war as "Daumann Heavy Construction" and the "Omega Pirates Guild" have challenged the claim.

Ted Prescot, the owner of Freeport 101 in the highly contested Omega 9 system has announced his stepping down as administrator of Freeport 101. He is calling for any Zoner confederation to take control of its administration and upkeep. Unfortunately he has also made this offer to the IMG guild as well, so It is our hope that a Zoner organization takes control of Freeport 101 as all Freeports should always remain in Zoner control.
His announcement came as a shock to many, including the academy as Mr. Prescot has always been a friend and ally to the Academy, and we sincerely hope that he will reconsider. Mr Prescot has said that though he will be stepping down from active management, he will remain as a lesser administrator to the station.
Cadet Shipyard News
This week we had two new graduates from the academy, we would like to congratulate Moldoveanu` and Kirkilo, each was given an Osprey with 25,000,000 million credits to start them on there path to Zoner independence. We wish them well on there journey.
In other shipyard news, Zoner Academy would like to thank DivineKiller for his generous donation of a Eagle VHF. The new fighter is now available to new graduates of the Academy.
Most active Zoner faction in the last 30 days?
One of the duties of our reporters that are deployed all over Sirius is to monitor the activity of all Zoner ships and Zoner Factions to gauge the activeness of the zoner community. This month once again "The Phoenix" take top honors as the most active Zoner faction in all of Sirius.
We would also like to send a special Congrats to [TAZ]The.Twenty-third of the "Temporary Autonomous Zoners" for being the most active pilot of any Zoner faction with (\^/)Eros from "The Phoenix" coming in second. You inspire Zoners everywhere with your dedication!
The Academy has a new home.
As reported earlier, The Academy has acquired a colony ship for its new home and was in the process of transferring all assets to this new ship. We are pleased to announce that this transfer has been completed and we are now fully resident in our new home. We can now house all 1,800+ of our students comfortably with nature domes for recreation, new state of the art classrooms and modern living quarters.
After the unfortunate indecent of taking heavy damage when our previous home was attacked by two AI cruiser ships with "PRIME" tags, it was deemed necessary to move to a more armored and protected home. This move will allow us to provide greater protection for our young charges.
Phoenix R&D department
We would like to welcome Rachel Winterton from the Phoenix Research and Development Department as the new head of our Science Department, Professor Winterton has proven to be a great addition to our Academy and is reflected in our students sudden increase in test scores.
We would also like to thank the Phoenix Research and Development Department for accepting our request and look forward to a long friendship and cooperation between our organizations.
