Raf'el walked onto the bridge of the Oblivion. Darkstar's upgraded Battlestar I.
Raf'el: Darkstar.
Darkstar: Did it work?
Raf'el: Yes, I was able to hide my presence from Dab long enough to find out what was happening. The activity going on was enough to keep him distracted. The Chanceller and Admiral Kreig have both left and the station was damaged but the AW seem to have minimized the damage to only the AW reactor cores leaving the station relatively undamaged. But still it will be unusable for a couple months. While I was leaving I saw lots of stuff being packed into battleship holds so I think they have moved the research and whatever they were working on in that station somewhere but we havent been able to track them.
Darkstar: And did you get into the computer systems?
Raf'el: Yes, we got most of the files that were under the research section. Seems like the AW have been researching enhanced energy cells for their fighters along with new weapons. We have found designs for railguns, weapons that inflict heavy damage to hulls but cannot penetrate shields, and energy cells. Two types actually. Smaller ones just as effeciant as the current ones being used by most of the house militaries and slightly larger ones that increase power levels to twice their current capacity. If we use these with the model we got from The Tohoku Arch we might be able to make a usable enhanced energy cells to replace our battleship's current ones. Also there was design for a ravenclaw but the file was destroyed as soon as it was opened and all we were able to get was a picture of a Ravenclaw with swept wings which would allow for a dramatic increase in speed.
Darkstar: Good, we are going to step up our timetable, we are going to need to take out their research facilities before they can get these protypes working.
Raf'el: And lose half your fleet in the process. No disrespect for your tactical ability ability but thats suicide. Even with its biggest and main fleet destroyed and secondary one reduced to half there are still so many ships protecting research stations that gettting away with anything would require a miracle.
"Do you think Dab can seriously keep us back from what we want?" Virus asked.
Raf'el: Actually, yes, I think he can.
Arouk and Raf'el glared at each other intensly.
Darkstar smiled. The hate between those two was as obvious as their lust for death. The hate was strong enough for him to sense and he didn't even have those thought powers like Dab and Raf'el.
Virus/Arouk: Sir, I still don't think you need him, no matter how good a spy he is.
Raf'el: And you overestimate your usefulness as well.
Arouk made a swing at Raf'el and soon they were, once again, fighting.
Darkstar: Enough! I don't want my best two people killing each other.
