According to devs philosophy on this matter: you can abuse zoner bombers too, it's no way to go. You will be fine with transports which cant do nothing against anybody.

I challenge you to head into o99, find a Marduk, and take it down with the bomber of your choosing. You do that and ill eat my week old socks.
Eventually you'll also find that it's not the way to acquire resources for cloaks. That reasoning as a tool for duck hunting would be null and void. You may as well eat not only those week old socks but an old hat too, good sir.

I know it will not change anything about the FYI jinx posted here, but i will post my view about it, at least for the people who do care.
It is quite funny how people can react and respond, some say the zoners (players) abuse the zoner cap ships. How can one abuse it without breaking the rules? Are the ones not reporting then not to blame as well? You can always point fingers to everywhere its not that hard.. Even governments do that in Real Life, but do not forget it will not help.
The issues started and got blowed out of proportions, when people started to complain about 1 group. not even a big group, but how people play you cannot judge as long they KEEP to the rules of the id's and server. If one likes to build bases or for all i care play with LEGO, or to shoot all on a nomad or pirate people their asses off.. Well that is up to them, it is THEIR free time they spent into Disco. There is nothing wrong with that, also other factions can be used in the view of many vets in a wrong way. But the view of one who calls themselves a vet is not ALWAYS true. I am one of the FEW who actually digged out the history of the Zoners. I wrote a huge load of RP and read almost all factions history.
RP wise only ONE Persephone exists, yet Admins decided to give Phoenix one for the lulz, and on top of that this. Even agreeing with Drobe that the lead of Phoenix did massive idling with their SRP ship in the game and mentioned into this SRP, it is still a sad view against all the others of the community who WOULD deserve it for their effort to play with. TAZ, well at least i made a believable story of a prototype, in the end TAZ got the Original persephone with its story and background so the prototype was stored to use as spare parts.. But even Admins ignored the true origin of the Zoners, it makes me sad. Even more after solving the problem with the Phoenix one and TAZ that the admins just made it after the promise which was made between several people to ignore it and just do as they please. It proves the problem is not with the ships, but with the people able to fly or provide them. Is it from a fighter to a battleship. If roleplay has no meaning then what are we all discussing?
So about the Persephone i would say it would be a shame for all the people who did so much effort in it to let their ship be changed/deleted without asking the people involved themselves. Because it will affect THEIR roleplay. so basically before some admin will so called sanction one his/her work for so called violation of:

I ask myself why not leave it as it is? The other unique ships like Lost battlestar, venator and some others i dont even know the name of anymore are still in the mod. The Persephone i see no reason why this would not just keep in existing form.
The nephilim, has inRP only a FEW in existence, but what happens ingame and on the forums (or skype) are 2 different things in discoverygc. If the devs/admins decided to keep towards this original RP the majority would have QQ'ed like crazy why only a limited or selected amount of people would be able to gather this ship. While in fact the ship is ingame nothing compared to many navy ships or other battleships. It is huge in size and it is just an EASY target, you can almost not miss it. But people like to play with it? I do not see what is wrong with that? As long people do ROLEPLAY isn't that what it is about? Not talking about the majority of the vets who like to shoot if they can. I have seen this since i came here, do not forget newer people who come to the server will behave the same, yet they might not have a big look at the id's thats mostly their mistakes, it does not make them dumb or less good then any vet what so ever. But like i did mention it is not the problem of the ships, but the problem of the people.
Ok Jinx your new design is not bad, but like i told you a long time ago it is like an upside down hand rifle. I liked it, but if im not mistaken the design was originally for another faction? Ahh well not that it matters you have a lot of unused designs. Some i like more then others..

Well i like the new aquillon i must stay objective.. Seeing as it is explained already by Jinx in the first part where it was inRP used for. But to make it a battle-transport? I am wondering myself.. Why would a zoner need a battle-transport? They can use all the battletransports at least if i am not mistaken with the new changes and all. But a battle-transport, would seem logical for zoners because they are NOT allowed to dock into house space. But it would give other factions again an advantage who can use battle-transports and dock in every house in the game. For instance IMG, why would anyone play zoner if with IMG they can do exactly the same AND more even.
Because i am typing for some time now and i do not want to spend too much on this because i cannot, i want to add that it would be a more easy way to solve with making indy and faction id's as it already exists its basically an easy solution. Limit the Zoner caps to the omicrons/omega's and tau's (if flown well you can only not enter house space, all other you can just go to and do research, or other zoner stuff). And make the faction officials have some more right, at least if they deserve it (or make it the same, because i know for TAZ at least it is not allowed to fly WITHOUT permission of the house to fly trough it. It is basically a faction restriction you get like with the K'hara not RP'ing while cloaked was a rule Yuri stated when it came in existence. Or more simple add the line except when approved by house government or whatever, not to me to decide i just give some ideas.)
Also stop to complain and just discuss, stop pointing fingers to people like Jinx or whoever else.. It is the community who talked years after years of changes, in favour of official factions. I know Jinx did fight a lot for Zoners to gain, i did fight a lot as well. And i managed to get some new model ingame even. Not many can say they did something seriously for a community. So stop waving to others and start looking at yourself what you did and then see what YOU think would be the best solution.

Btw duv, Jinx took persephone form us just because. Original rules of taking that ship back was: fall from zoner way, disbanding faction. We didn't both. So everything is depended on Jinx attitude, which are changing each month.
Anyway - as from point of duv hole, I rather say keep everything as it is, but delete leviathans.

If you want yours to be deleted that is up to you, but you cannot talk about SRP other people worked on to decide what will happen to it. This would be for drobe for his one, for the TAZ doc and/or mj would have to decide for what to do with it.

Zoners are what they are because we made them the way they are, and ; we prefer the current status than NO status at all, so please - you have all the zoner officials/none officials against this move, close the thread, and lets pretend it was just a nightmare. Enough putting excuses to try and duck the seriousness of this change.
