I decided a few months ago that I wanted to model an advanced Starblazer for the Xenos. It'd fit their RP better to customize ships and get the most out of it. Right now I have 3 pictures, each of them different (because I'm progressing:P)

Honestly, I find that not good. But I still uploaded it.
This one is the most recent, showing the vertical fins as extra wings.

...Very nice, mate. Seal of Approval granted. There's not any real design suggestions I can make...it's a perfectly logical extension of the Starflier line.

Xeno ship would be so sweet. What category will it be LF or HF? I'd say top end LF off looks alone with stats similar to a Hussar. (Though having a Torp slot like the Loki would be real cool...)
Will all the wings detatch, be great if they did??? (I guess not... all that extra work)
I'm currently discussing the harpoints with Dusty. The wings definitely get (at least) one gun each. Plus the 2 guns on the sides stay. CD/Torp slot is on the "chin" on the Blazer.

Also I'm gonna give the Blazer dirtier textures. Since I'd say the model is finished... Problem is where to find a fitting SUR. I guess I need to make that, too.
I see 6 guns which would make it a HF/VHF... certainly possible, but I think 4 might be more inkeeping with the model, with a loadout similar to the Loki. I love the Loki and a power unit enough to fire a mini would be a real handful if the Xenos could attack in swarms.
(I love the idea of individually weak Xenos being able to take down a cap ship through extreme teamwork. It is sort of an extension of how fanatic's blazer squad worked.)
looks good mate the only desing sugestion i can make would be to extend the ships main hull back a bit to show it has a bigger power plant and more systems on board. but if thats just me being picky then nevermind

Cause Xenos aint got no gun boat. Thats why. Keep the size relative to starblazer as well.
As for weapon mounts, how about the two on each side as normal, a turret on the chin that can fire forward and backwards, the CD on the mount at the top and a gun/missile mount on each side of that wing in the middle of the third pic.
so thats:
4x gun/missile mounts
1 turret
1 CD
1 CM
1 Mine
Classes, hmm, turret would be at best class 3, with the other 4 gun/missile mounts being class 8 as if I remember correctly thats the highest gun class the xenos have.
The xeno guns are brilliant, so this way theres no need to use non-xeno weapons, except the turret, I'd personally throw a adv. stunpulse turret on there.
Ship class, HF, armour and agility of a LF as it's basically an upgraded starblazer which is an advanced LF itself. CD mount, no torp slot (trust me, 4x blackwidows you won't need a mini-razor or torps. Add three more ships and you've got a capship fleet eating squad).

Totally agree about not needing codies or nomads but Black Widows are level 9...
If this ship is to fly it must be able to mount them. (Or at least 2 of them - most adv LFs are 2xLvl 9 + 2xLvl 8)

Why turrets?
They don't seem to fit to me...
Advanced LFs are usually 4 guns... of course it can be different but that would need more balancing.
