COMM ID:Captain Jane Hartman TARGET ID: Deep Space Engineering SUBJECT:Junker Congress Trade Arrangement ENCRYPTION:Low PRIORITY:Moderate
Good Evening,
Recently I encountered a Congress vessel bound for Ontario with what appeared to be a load of station panels. The Captain claimed to be acting in accordance with an arrangement reached with Deep Space Engineering, though did not elaborate on the nature of the deal. The nature of the arrangement is not a matter of concern; however, in light of the recent difficulties we've experienced with the Congress, it would be appreciated if you could confirm that such an arrangement does exist.
The encounter has been documented below, for your reference.
Code:
.:j:.Ambassador: Mia: Evening.
[LN]-LLS-Glenbrook: Hartman: Evening, Captain.
.:j:.Ambassador: Mia: Keeping safe today?
[LN]-LLS-Glenbrook: Hartman: That doesn't look like a usual load. Where're you bound?
.:j:.Ambassador: Mia: Got a request for assistance from some DSE folk. Would be wrong of me to turn it down, no?
[LN]-LLS-Glenbrook: Hartman: Which DSE folk, specifically, are we referring to?
.:j:.Ambassador: Mia: Oh, Someone called Amanda I believe. Might have been Amelia. Said she was needing assistance up in Ontario.
.:j:.Ambassador: Mia: Nothing to stress about, I'll be planning on getting back home to the bar as soon as this I'm done here.....
[LN]-LLS-Glenbrook: Hartman: *Nods.* Glad to hear it Captain.
.:j:.Ambassador: Mia: Aye.
[LN]-LLS-Glenbrook: Hartman: Appreciate your time. *Glances at someone off-screen.* Lieutenant, the transmission.
[LN]-LLS-Glenbrook: [Signal Lost.]

Thank you for taking an active interest in the security
in and around the Alberta and Ontario sectors. As you
will be aware, our high value project is one of great
importance to the advancement of jumping technology.
The Junker ship you appeared to have had encountered
is indeed hired by Deep Space Engineering to fulfill a
certain contract designated by our finance company,
Interspace Commerce, to our project in the North East
corner of Alberta known as the Cold Lake Project.
While we understand the need for added security in and
around the area, the troubles the Liberty Navy are having
with the Junker Congress are not troubles shared by Deep
Space Engineering. So you can expect to see more Junker
ships in the area as they are assigned and contracted to
continue assisting Deep Space Engineering with tasks
best done by Junkers.
If you would like to see a comprehensive portfolio of other
tasks the Junker Congress do for Deep Space Engineering
and Liberty, I can get our Human Resources department to
email you through a copy for $500,000 credits wired to DSE)Ft.Knox, and can take up too 14 business days to be
delivered.
Thank you for your time, your security and your interest. Keep
up the superb job you do in defending our Great Nation.

Ms Homeswell,
Thank you for the prompt response. While I don't necessarily support ongoing operations involving the Congress, that decision is ultimately yours. I'm familiar with the Cold Lake Project, and I'm glad to hear that DSE are continuing your investigations into the technology involved in spite of the economic situation. The success of the project would be a tremendous boon for both the military and civilians of Liberty.
To prevent interference with Junker transports employed in a lawful capacity by Deep Space Engineering, I'll have to insist on that portfolio. Payment has been wired through via the Logistics Ship Glenbrook.
I look forward to news of the project, and I'll be certain to pass your compliments on to the men and women of the 21st.

Joy Homeswell sent a referral to this channel to allow me to
offer a portfolio of relations with Junker Congress.
My name is George Ross and I am the Human Resource
manager in charge of documenting foreign relations, so you
can trust the legitimacy of the following articles.
Quote:Junker Congress; Cold Lake Project
Junker involvement is required to import High Temperature Alloys
from Rheinland and deliver them to a holding facility on Freeport
Fourteen in the Alberta System.
Deep Space Engineering and the Junker Congress share
a large scale mining operation in the distant system of
Humboldt, where very few if any Naval patrols are seen.
Junker Congress harbor Deep Space Engineering within
it's mining station Saltese protection radius. In conjunction
with this, they allow Deep Space Vessels to traverse their
system to safe guard again piracy and hostile military's
known to occupy the Kansas and Magellan systems.
There is also explicit allowances for Deep Space Engineer
-ing Defiant class Gunboats to traverse the system.
Junkers requesting an offer on replicating a Gallic dominated
market on cryocubes.

Quote:Junker Congress; Investigating Fosters
Deep Space Engineering has always worked with Ageira in
researching different means to make jumping safer, quicker,
cheaper and the only way to get around. One such research
was undertaken in a desolate system named Cassini. There
a Baxters anomaly was discovered and a research facility was
erected to study it. Unfortunately, preliminary patrols failed to
discover the system was infested with a higher class of Liberty
Rogues and subsequently Deep Space Engineering has been
unable to maintain constant contact and supply. The decision
was made to abandon the project but several staff volunteered
to stay behind to make sure everything was secured before
the station was finally abandoned. A return convoy was sent
but they lost contact shortly after jumping into the system.
The Junker Congress were then called to make efforts in
finding the fate of the remaining crew.
The foremost leadership of Deep Space Engineering began
making their way by admitting fault and offering extensive
recovery and salvage of the debri fields in the Texas systems.
Doing this was not something that could have been done solely
on the shoulders of the flesh leadership. Congress were
contacted and deals were made to work in unison to clear out
the mess in Texas.
Deep Space Engineering had invested in an operation in the
Pennsylvania system to begin harvesting large quantities of
Helium gas. One of the key issues were viable mooring facilities
to accommodate a large portable refinery known as the Barge.
Junker Congress gave Deep Space Engineering express
permissions to moor the refinery with Allentown Station.

Mr Ross,
I'll see to it that the above information is transmitted to the wider Logistics Corps. With any luck, the portfolio you have provided will help to clarify any future incidents with the Congress and prevent overt disruption to DSE's operations.
The First Fleet appreciates your assistance.
