Well im looking for somthing that has a good power cap/regen . I prefer Snacs over torps just because torps miss a lot if cap ship has flack or CM also not too hard to dodge torps either . Im looking somthing anti cap.
If you want more power, you'll want to use a Medium (ex. Orchid, Broadsword, Cougar, Kaichou, Havoc, Falcata, Thor) or Heavy (ex. Waran, Eclipse, Barghest, Nada Devi, Challenger) bomber. Until the wiki gets updated, you can use FLStat - bombers are sorted under Class 5 Fighters.
Gunboats and (agile) cruisers are meant to be dangerous for bombers (especially heavy ones), so expect a tough fight.
Well the uphoder is fast, maneuverable and does a good.job against caps in numbers. You could also take on a fighter if you practice a lot. I think it has two slots for either torpedos or snacs.
If you prefer an agile bomber which can take out pretty much everything but takes longer - Bergelmir.
If you just want to wreck cruisers and BS or are Kilian - Nanda Devi.
The Jaguar and Jaguar Noir are great anti-cap medium bombers, given their decent speed and five forward firing guns (not counting torp slots). They also look really cool
"You see what your knowledge tells you you're seeing. ... how, what you think the universe is, and how you react to that in everything you do, depends on what you know. And when that knowledge changes, for you, the universe changes. And that is as true for the whole of society as that is for the individual. We all are what we know, today. What we knew yesterday, was different; and so were we."
- James Burke, The Day the Universe Changed (1985)
Kaichou, Waran, and the Nanda Devi are also great bombers.
Kaichou is good because it's small, has centered torpedo slots, and it's quite balanced.
Waran went from ugliest to the Freelancer's best friend against caps. Now, it's seriously powerful and I'd suggest it as well.
Nanda Devi? Even though the last time I used this was in .86, it was a bomber I swore by because it got me out of a few bad situations and that it could fight and hold for itself, better than some other bombers of the same class.
