Admins give you move codes, and you can move your old chars to the new account.
Next time, use Freelancer Account Manager or Discovery Launchpad to back up your accounts.
If you still have your old system or Laptop (if you were using), you can still move them with the help of Launchpad, without poking the admins, as stated by Ponge.
if so on your old computer download and install launchpad, itll say its found an account on the system, and do you want to save it, click yes, then go upto the menu bar and click export and click yes to save as adf file
then on new computer do the usual installation of disco etc
and also install launchpad
now transfer tht adf to new comp
and then import in launchpad, but remember to click save accounts, or itll dissapear on next relaunch
on 1st time running of launchpad you might come up with same "cant find this or that xml or blah blah" dont worry about that if you follow my steps and remember to click save, next time running launchpad all will be fine
I had a virus on my pc and was ordered to make everything new so all data are erased and the admin can just send my ships? the account with the launchpad does not work!
