This is a good start, but a lot of work is required to improve the model texturing.
Ideally, there would be proper cockpits for the small craft with semi-transparent windows. The same can be done for larger ships, or you may like to have glowmapped windows (see: almost every cap / transport in the mod).

Thank you for the feedback. Yes Lot more work needed. Haven't done texturing for a long time. Will keep on working on it.

Very much appreciating the feedback, I'm sure Unlucky_Soul will keep chipping away at this until all parties are happy. For motivation, just keep in mind that maybe, someday, we could be flying these. It's very cool to see an idea in 3d, much different to the story writing, like now it is literally taking shape.

That could be a good thing in terms of them being "Freelancerish".
EDIT: Just reread the part about see-through cockpits - Etherium cockpits. Now things are really getting interesting.
But seeing what the ships will look like, and me loving Etherium background. Where can i sign up?
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

It is a woodlouse and these little animals aren't insects. But you are right, it realy reminds for it.
The LF looks a little bit like a bretonian GB or cruiser.
It is a very nice work, especially the chiseled but organic desing is very good !
they are also called sow bug's
