Oberst Wolthers hier. I am handing in mein report about yesterday's patrol.

First of all some rather...arrogant secondary police officers drew my attention.
Although I tried to teach them some manners, I moved on, there is much more important work for me to do then take care of these two.

A member of the IMG was heading for planet Hamburg with its cargo. To make sure he did not violate the embargo, I escorted the ship to planet Hamburg when it made planetfall.

Soon after, ein message from the secondary pilots reached me. They had confiscated a huge load of stabiline from a not approved vessel. While on route to them, some well known Hessians announced to cause trouble within Rheinland.
Therefore, the Geilenkirchen tractored in the stabiline and headed for planet New Berlin. Meanwhile I grabbed the first available Phantom fighter for me.

Together with the secondary police officers and a capital cruiser of the military reserve, we engaged the Hessian armada.
I have to admit, these secondary polizei officers were capable and thus, one Hel cruiser and one Hessian Roc fell victim to our guns. The rest fled. Unfortunately we lost the cruiser. I just hope its crew made it into the escape pods.

About 10 minutes after the fight, a transport with Diamonds going for Hamburg caught mein attention. Visiual scan proved it to be ein Ageira transport, trying to break the Liberty embargo.
Although we ordered the pilot to drop the cargo he refused in the end and thus, the ship was destroyed by our combined fire.

Meanwhile, Detective Carsten had to deal with a member of the junkers congress that failed to announce the destination for its cargo when asked. This all lead to a rather big...discussion and I was more then once at the edge of fining the junker for his misbehaviour.

Anyway, in the end, we were properly informed and escorted the junkers and his friends to Sigma-13 jumpgate, where he almost denied to follow our orders again.
In the end he was able to listen to us.

Guten Tag, after some time I finally recovered enough from my injury to get back into space. And it seems my sixth sense for catching smugglers is still as good as it was before. Here is list of my catches including ein really big fish...

My first catch was Behemoth with Freelancer papers named Illuminated. I caught him when he jumped into Stuttgart system from New Berlin with 2925 cargo units of black market munitions. His explanation was that this contraband is intented for "his friends and family on Leeds to assist in the fight against Gallia". Eh, how many times I heard this. But law is law so I destroyed the cargo and fined him. Uploading evidence now...

Now to second one. This time it was cardamine smuggler in Bullmastiff transport with some strange papers named Edgedog-Transport_41. I saw him on TLAGSNET coming from Stuttgart system so waited at gate in New Berlin and caught him there. He tried to start cruise engines but my cruise disruptors ended his attempt quickly. During questioning, captain blamed one of his passangers as the one who brough 20 cargo units of cardamine on his ship. He fortunately without any hesitation obeyed my order to jettison the contraband which I immediately destroyed. Problem appeared when I ordered him to pay a fine because he said he doesn´t have enough money for it. Because captain was cooperating whole time and there was quite lot of silver onboard, I decided to let ship dock on any station willing to buy enough of it to obtain enough money for paying of the fine. Another problem was that captain claimed that docking on most of station is an issue, but this was solved by choosing the Kreuzberg Depot. We got there and after captain sold part of silver, he paid the fine completely. What was surprise, he undocked with 10 cargo units of artifacts! Because I believe captain would not be so stupid to do this on his own, I chose to destroy the contraband since captain jettisoned it even before I ordered that, and don´t fine him again. He promised to take measures to prevent this situations to repeat. Then I docked on Kreuzberg to find person responsible for the artifacts case, but as usually on Junker stations, nobody saw anything suspicious and safety cameras in the docking bay unfortunately stopped working. What a coincidence and bad luck, right? Anyway, you can see scans and communication log hier...

Now finally to the big fish I caught. I spotted on the TLAGSNET ship which out of a sudden used gate from New Berlin system to Hamburg, despite didn´t use trade lane before. Reason was obvious - load of cardamine. I was able to catch it near planet Hamburg and after attempt to cruise away captain surrendered. Ship was Pilgrim liner with Junker papers named Triton´s.Crown, loaded with 3193 cargo units of cardamine. Captain cooperated, jettisoned the contraband which I destroyed subsequently, and paid a fine. But that was not all. I checked criminal database and found ship´s name there with old unpaid fine of 9 million credits. Captain said he doesn´t remember anything so I checked details and it turned out that entry is around two years old. Anyway, captain paid the old fine as well and I restored his docking rights. Then escorted him to Bering jump hole as he was heading to Puerto Rico system. Still I recommend to keep eye on this ship every time it enters Rheinland space. Last thing to report happened just when I was with Triton´s.Crown at Bering jumphole. Out of a sudden, two junker IFFed ships jumped in. One of them belonged to Junker Congress, second was untagged Pelican transport named Argo. I ordered him to stop, but he was able to get some distance and then turned on the cloaking device. Before the ship cloaked, I was at least able to scan it to find that it is already on black list of possible pirate ships. From later activinty which I saw on TLAGSNET, captain of the ship decided to hide and then return back towards Liberty, probably afraid that sooner or later lawful forces will find his ship. But fact that even pirate ships are able to obtain and use such advanced technology as cloaking device is quite disturbing. Details hier...

Guten Tag, here is my report from yesterday patrol. Lanes were quite quiet, yet there were two events which deserve to mention.

First one was junker Pilgrim Liner named Triton´s.Crown. This one should ring a bell, it´s the one from my last report which I caught around two months ago loaded with cardamine and to add more, it had it´s entry in criminal database too, so in the end he paid total fine of 11,5 million credits to be able to continue.

But maybe there is some hope even some junkers can be reformed. This time, according to TLAGSNET, ship entered Frankfurt with load of some service cargo and 3 153 cargo units of holosculptures. I checked it personally in New Berlin system and confirmed that his cargo is completely legal this time. He was on the way to Kreuzberg Depot and because there was almost no other traffic, I decided to escort him there and keep eye on him because...you know, give a trust to former junker criminal is quite a gamble. But captain was nice and we reached Kreuzberg without any problem. After he moored, I stayed near just to be sure he really isn´t planning anything illegal, but he unmoored with load of mining machinery. I continued his escort slash surveillance through Stuttgart and Omega-7 systems, there we split and he continued to Omega-3. Uploading documentation now...

But I couldn´t finish my patrol before catching at least one smuggler, could I? Just little later when I was on patrol in Stuttgart system, I spotted in TLAGSNET ship loaded with cardamine which entered Frankfurt system. I was quick enough to catch it up near planet New Berlin and stopped it. It was junker Salvage frigate named StealthFrigate - well, captain obviously wasn´t acting much stealthy. Anyway, he cooperated and paid the fine, claiming that he owe something to some person from Junker base in Liberty and has to smuggle this load for him. Well, another story for my collection.

Problem appeared when I wanted to ask for the contraband to destroy it. Out of nowhere, my ship was paralysed by some major malfunction of all important systems and junker took the advantage of it and flew away before I finished rebooting main computer and was able to control my ship again. I sent him message that his action only means he will be added to criminal database and he said he is okay with it. But few minutes later, he obviously changed his mind and contacted me, asking to remove his entry and sent additional 5 million credits fine which I requested. So basically I could remove his entry before even putting it in...

Guten Tag, hier is my report from yesterday patrol again. Most of it will be all about gas miners, specifically GDE| tagged group. Ja, that group which was accused of cooperation with Hessians, what was documented by Kruger ship and evidence sent in transmission from Kruger Security Division, access number RFP-140807-A058.

I met two their bombers, according to ship names piloted by Akio Matsumoto and Ayatsu Izumi, outside Bonn station just few moments after I started my patrol and undocked, flying another test flight of Sutinga very heavy fighter. I stopped and questioned them about said incident, but they claimed they don´t know about it. Then refused to provide name of their leader, claiming that he will make contact soon. Be it. Because the GDE| group - by the way they said this means Guild Department of Exploratory - is not formally accused nor sentenced for any crime as far as I know, I didn´t know what exactly to do with them as the ships documented docking on Hessian base were not these.

Because of lack of reason to arrest or deport them out of Rheinland, I decided to just keep eye on them. The continued with me on their tails through Stuttgart, where one of them shortly docked on battleship Karlsruhe, to Omega-7 system, where they flew into open space, pretending that this is some kind of "spaceseeing". But obviously, they were scouting the system including mining fields, what they even later admitted, and also looking for something. After some time, they split so I stayed with one of them and got little disoriented about navigation and exact position in the system as we were flying around the system. But some time later, it appeared what they were after because when we arrived near Reutlingen Storage Facility, a Kruger base, the GDE pilot commented it with shouting "Bingo!" and later admitted that they want and need to know about possibilities of Kruger as their "business concurents" as they said. This looks quite worrying to me.

Anyway, after short time of looking, they left the place, saying that "their mission is over" and used jumphole to Omega-9, where I interrupted my surveillance as this system is out of Rheinland jurisdiction and also I was attacked by bunch of Hessians NPC class fighters while GDE ships could fly away obviously unharmed. But I will talk more about this issue later.

I returned to battleship Schwerin, where I refueled and continued patrol, but out of nowhere, I heard one of GDE pilots in system communication channel and their ships appeared on the trade lane from Stuttgart jumpgate to Schwerin. Only change was that Akio Matsumoto was replaced by another pilot named Akira Katashi, which was flying Karasu GMG heavy fighter. And this one obviously wanted to be troublemaker. When they arrived to Schwerin, they turned and headed back and at the moment of taking lane, Akira Katashi released a mine which disrupted lane right in front of me. I immediately ordered him to stop at gate through system channel, but he didn´t obey and jumped to Stuttgart system. I repeated order to stop, but he still didn´t obey and disrupted trade lane ring at Freiburg station. What finally stopped him was my threat that he will be added to criminal database, so he stopped near planet Stuttgart. There he tried to pretend he doesn´t know what happened, and then came with silly excuse that his mine dropper has malfunction. What a coincidence that it was dropping mines only in front of polizei officer, heh...

Anyway, because of this offence and because he repeatedly didn´t obey my order to stop, I issued fine of 500 000 credits which he paid. By the way, in the meantime second GDE pilot dropped some insult towards passing Kruger ship. I really had better opinion about behaviour of gas miners guild´s members. But back to main offender. I told him to dock on planet Stuttgart to repair this "malfunction" because with dropper dropping mines accidentally, this ship would be of course threat for everything around. Pilot really made short stop there.

But this is still not the end of the encounter and some...interesting circumstances. After the ship took off, they didn´t take the lane to New Berlin jumpgate, but instead took course into open space towards Ostnebel. Ja, Ostnebel. I warned them that this is dangerous area, but Katashi replied it is not dangerous area for them. When I asked why and if they are good with Hessians, the answer was that they are "neutral for them" and same goes for LWB. But then they claimed they don´t support any of these groups. But fact is that we flew through part of Ostnebel and we met only very few hostile ships, mainly NPC class fighters, which is very unusual. They reached jumphole to Dresden and took it. There again smooth flight partially through Schwefelnebel to Frankfurt jumphole and from hier through part of Sudnebel to trade lanes and Sigma-13 jumpgate, where I checked them even on the other side to be sure. Well, I never experienced or heard about such a smooth movement through mentioned, usually dangerous areas. And it also raises question from where they knew about all those jumpholes...

There was lot of time for discussion during this long flight, which you can hear at communication record. But to raise two parts of it - they said that Hessians are neutral to them - what probably meant to all gas miners - because they are workers too and I don´t know who Hessians really are... I didn´t know if I should laugh or swear on their heads for this. Obviously Hessian propaganda works somewhere. Workers...pff! Anyway, the second interesting part was when they started to question me about destruction of obviously their base in Sigma-13 system near our jumpgate to Frankfurt. I don´t know much about this incident, but it seems they built base just next to the gate and it was dismantled probably by our military. But any questions regarding this must go to someone else.

Now few words about rest of the patrol. Outcast gunship named Tearsor tried to enter Frankfurt system from Sigma-13 but one of patrolling military NCP class gunboats made scrap of him even before I was able to stop and question Outcast about his intentions. Captain probably knew something more than me about this cardamine sniffer.

Anyway, I also made three escorts of ore traders. First one was IMG Hegemon named LineBraker heading to planet New Berlin which I stopped for control in Frankfurt system. Everything was in order, but he informed me that there is report about criminal in New Berlin system and asked for help to get to his destination, so I escorted him to planet. No criminal appeared on the way but in front of planet, captain of Kishiro´s Kusari train Kishiro|Jame.anderson which unmoored from New Berlin, loaded with 5 000 cargo units of helium-3, confirmed that there is Hessian named Reiner Stoff in system. I even heard some strange voice in system channel, but it was too short and incomprehensible to identify it. For this reason, I escorted Kishiro train to New Berlin jump gate where I let him continue because there was military gunboat Kornelius patrolling in the Stuttgart system. Captain of Kishiro ship was so grateful that he even sent million credits, so I decided to take it as a gift for polizei forces and I forwarded the money to polizei central account.

Shortly after, BMM Hegemon mining ship named Turds'n'Roasts arrived from Stuttgart system and because his load of gold ore was again for planet New Berlin, I escorted this one to it´s destination too. Then I searched whole system for that Hessian, but when I was at Hamburg gate, he appeared on the TLAGSNET, taking lane to Dresden jumpgate and then entered this system. I didn´t go to hunt him there, because my patrol was way over time and I also needed refuel, so I finished my patrol and docked on Bonn station.

Guten Tag, detektiv Carsten reporting in with another patrol report. There were two event´s which deserve to be mentioned.

First one was smuggler ship named *Shtorm* which unfortunately was able to flee. I spotted him in TLAGSNET in Stuttgart system with load of black market munitions when I took my Phantom on service flight. Unfortunately I didn´t get close enough to take direct scan of cargo hold. Pilot took lanes to Konstanz Border Station, where he flew to open space and used Omega-11 jumphole, where he continued to Omega-41 jumphole. Of course ignoring my orders to stop all the time. Unfortunately because the ship was freighter class Camara, I was not able to catch him even in Phtantom so I ended the pursue hier and returned back. But pilot was even that sassy that he sent me message where he said he has no time and even wished me good luck. I really hope we will meet again. Anyway, another name for criminal database. Second event to report is another Hessian attack on Synth Foods base in Stuttgart system. I took my Sutinga there because I got message Hessians have there quite lot of fighter class ships to take down our bombers so their capital ships can attack the base itself. Despite some chaos at the beginning, military supported by corporation´s security forces were able to repulse the attack and whole Hessian fleet retreated. I personally pursued one of the fighters which even brought me to one of Hessian´s bases. There the "hero" stayed under cover of base weapons until reinforcements arrived so I had to retreat. Then there was interesting debate over system channel where Hessian admitted that they really aren´t looking for fair fight. But who can be surprised by this. Guten Tag, detektiv Carsten sending another report from patrol, where I was with wachmann Olpenitz.

First we checked Stuttgart system and Synth Foods base near planet, then held a guard in New Berlin system where not much later quite lot of action took place. There we stopped Waran bomber with Freelancer papers and light cloaking device onboard. It turned out that it´s piloted by Geoffrey Enfield, former feldwebel in our military. Unfortunately I didn´t find his name in Extraordinary equipment registration list.

But when we were discussing the problem - from what I later understood, he currently work for some organization which works for Büro der Marineintelligenz at the moment - I spotted in TLAGSNET ship with slaves flying through Hamburg system towards New Berlin. Because Enfield didn´t look like immediate threat, we quickly moved to Hamburg jumpgate to wait for slaver and Enfield even joined us for small sum of 300 thousand credits. Then slaver jumped into. It was Serenity transport named James_David loaded with 3 530 slaves and what was really weird was that ship had Bretonia Armed Forces identification papers and IFF. Unfortunately captain didn´t obey our orders to stop, his only reaction was that he "cant stop". So after several warnings, we had to open fire and ship was quickly destroyed. Then we had to start rescue operation of slaves where polizei cruiser from another department named Edelweiss and Kruger transport ship KMS-Salzburg helped us to get the slaves to safety. But that´s still not all! Shortly after, I spotted another ship with slaves in Hamburg system. But this one very probably took jumphole instead of jump gate. While I was trying to locate him, captain of Edelweiss reported that there is cardamine smuggler in the system named Mirage, junker Salvage frigate. From what I heard in communication channel, it refused to cooperate, jettisoned contraband and tried to flee despite there was said cruiser, Enfield´s Waran, military feldwebel Max Meyer accompanied with another military Wraith...and also wachmann Olpenitz which should have more details about this incident. I got there just in moment when lawful forces opened fire on the junker and destroyed the ship. Then captain of Edelweiss mentioned that he noticed junkers flying into Omicrons with scrap and returning with cardamine more than often, so their destination with scrap is probably some place in Outcasts space. After all this, I needed to take stop to refuel. Because herr Enfield proved to be not problem for Rheinland security, I decided to let him go this time with strong warning to get papers of his cloak in order immediately. Precisely saying I let him in hands of BDM captain Koch, whose ship BDM|LV-Kostenfels appeared on the spot. But just to be on the safe side, hier are scans of Enfield´s ship...

Guten Tag, report about another two patrols from detektiv Carsten.

On the first one, which I held with wachmann Olpenitz, there was only one thing which deserves to mention - possible ship with cloaking device moving in Rheinland. We were able to track it through TLAGSNET because pilot was obviously so confident that he was using lanes all the time. We were tracking the ship - according to scans some transport - in New Berlin system and then to Frankfurt, back to New Berlin and Stuttgart. There we decided to split, wachmann Olpenitz went to patrol area around Wuppertal Refinery because we suspected that ship could go there to buy MOX fuel for the cloaking device, while I stayed patrolling in Stuttgart. But unfortunately we were not able to catch the ship and some time later ended the patrol because there were no new signs of the ship movement in our space. On another patrol, there was not much traffic again. After I met in front of planet New Berlin Kishiro Ryujjin train piloted by Tommy Lee and loaded with helium-3, which was heading to Aland shipyard, I decided to escort it through Rheinland space. We arrived at Omega-3 jumpgate without any problems, but just after the ship jumped, ALG ship TGX-Rostock jumped in and informed me about Corsair capital ship near Freeport 1. I warned Kishiro pilot through long range channel and he responded fortunately that he had no problems on the way to Aland. Then, because ALG ship was loaded with beryllium ore for Dortmund smelter, I escorted this one to it´s destination as well. On the way there we were just once interrupted in Omega-7 by two Corsair NPC class fighter ships which I quickly destroyed and then we could continue. After we arrived to Dortmund, pilot sent me 3 million credits "for service" as he said, so I took it as gift to federal polizei and forwarded the money to respective account. I stayed for some time at Dortmund and later ship named Reignheart appeared. Troublemaker unfortunately. It was Border Worlds Transport with Freelancer papers loaded with 3421 units of diamonds, heading obviously towards Hamburg gate. I ordered him to stop, what he did, and questioned about destination of the cargo. Captain´s answer was "pen" what is common abbreviation for Pennsylvania as far as I know, and what means breaking trade embargo as it needs the way through Rheinland-Liberty border. I wanted to ask captain about this explicitly, but when I did, he out of nowhere quickly turned the ship and docked on Dortmund before I could stop him. I tried to contact him inside station, but there was almost no response and then strong ion storm hit the system so I had to dock on Essen. After it was possible to return, I tried to contact captain again but he was not available anymore.

Then I spotted another ship, junker Bullmastiff transport, which I had to investigate and escort. But I will talk about this one later because encounter with Reignheart had continuation. After I returned to Rheinland core systems after escorting mentioned junker, and got TLAGSNET access again, I spotted the Reignheart moving in New Berlin and later Hamburg system. I ordered captain through long range channel to stop and wait for me at nearest station, but despite there was some discussion between us, he continued. I was able to catch him at disabled Bering gate, which I´m sure he would use if it would be possible. After another discussion and me explaining the trade embargo, pilot finally turned the ship back inside Hamburg and sold the cargo on Alster shipyard. Then flew around with empty hold and docked on Altona. Thinking about it now, I should have fine him, at least for disobeying my order to stop. But the attitude which captain showed simply annoyed me so much that I was rather happy to see him go away because I´m sure there would be argument and maybe even fight because of the fine. Communication and data record of encounter with ship Reignheart

Now to the junker which I mentioned previously. Ship was Bullmastiff transport with junker papers named Toronado loaded with premium scrap and it appeared on my scanner when I was at Dortmund, flying from open space, probably Kreuzberg Depot or Hamburg jump hole, in the direction of Aachenfeld. I stopped him and asked about destination and to my surprise, pilot said Aland shipyard, which was obviously in other direction. Because this sounded quite suspicious, I decided to escort ship what pilot agreed. Things went even more strange when all stations on the way - Dortmund, Essen, Bonn and all battleships - opened fire on the ship. You can see that on taken photos. I checked criminal database but didn´t find ship´s name there so I let it continue. What was even more odd was situation at Aland shipyard where I flew with junker to check if he didn´t lie. Station opened fire on the ship as well! Junker continued to freeport, made stop there and then returned. Like a magic, no shooting this time and traffic control let him dock. After he undocked again, he had load of robotics in the hold and continued to Bretonia, so I decided to return to Rheinland space where later encounter with Reignheart continued as I described previously.
