Mr. Jensen, I'm glad to see you back in the service, it seems like now's a good time for veterans to return, eh?
Anyway, I'm approving your request to resume Logistics Service work. Should you not have access to an LLS ship already, I'll authorize you to command the LLS Lakewood and I'll transfer the necessary codes to your ID Profile..
COMM ID:CAPT HARTMAN, Jane [Independent Trade Vessel Triton, Omega-7] TARGET ID: Logistics Corps Personnel SUBJECT:Security Revisions ENCRYPTION:Moderate PRIORITY:Moderate
Good Evening All,
At some point over the last two weeks an unauthorized order to remove Fort Wayne's armor was carried out. I'm uncertain where the order in question originated and, ultimately, it doesn't matter right now. The net result was a Logistics Ship left under equipped and, frankly, a sitting duck for anyone with more guts then brains.
I'm glad to say that Commander Graham has since secured additional reinforcing for Fort Wayne and that the ship is once again combat ready. However; this incident has highlighted serious deficiencies in the access codes utilized by the Corps.
Some of you may have noticed that you were unable to access your ships earlier today. This was due to upgrades to the identification systems aboard Fort Wayne, Lakewood, and White Mage. I'm also informed that due to a technical error the existing user database was wiped in the process. Yes, that does mean that your details will have to be re-entered into the system to regain command access.
CDR Graham, LCDR Harrison and I have been processed already, and we'll be able to guide you through the process via SKYP-3 connection. Failing that, send a message over this frequency requesting access and you'll be sent the new authentication codes.
I know it's an inconvenience people, but the sooner you get started the sooner you'll be done.
Regards,
Jane Hartman

COMM ID:Ensign Alan Jones TARGET ID:Liberty Navy Logistics Corps SUBJECT:Volunteering
Hello,
After being promoted to the rank of ensign, I was given some time to decide weather I would join any divisions beside active duty and after some time of thinking and some brief discussions with Captain Hartman, I think the Logistics Corps would do best. So hereby I am volunteering to join the corps.

Ensign Jones,
I'm glad to see you name cross my desk. Logistics is always in need of committed officers and, after a review of your service record, I've recommended you for trial command aboard Fort Wayne and White Mage.
The ships are currently assigned to the 2nd Logistics Group, stationed out of Long Island Station, and you'll be serving under CDR Graham. Security procedures for the 2nd have been tightened lately, so you'll need to report to Long Island in person to collect your access codes. Lieutenant Shaw'll be expecting you on station to update your ID profile at J1000 hours tomorrow.
Welcome to Logistics, Ensign.
Regards,
Jane Hartman

Ensign Emma Lynch, reporting.
As per a recommendation, I'm volunteering for the Logistics Corps, despite Operation Royal Flush being around the corner. I believe the Division would give me something to focus on during the down time at West Point.

Ensign Lynch,
Your name seems to be crossing my desk with alarming frequency lately. Nonetheless, I can see nothing in your record to preclude you from service in the Corps. With the fleet mobilizing, we'll need all available hands on-station to move materials and personnel, and your willingness to volunteer is noted.
I've authorized you for command of Lakewood, pending the corpsman's all-clear on the issue we discussed earlier.
Regards,
Jane Hartman

COMM ID: Lieutenant Ryan Erickson TARGET ID: Liberty Navy Logistics Corps SUBJECT: Volunteering ENCRYPTION: Low Priority: Low
Greetings Lieutenant Ryan Erickson speaking,
After much consideration I've decided to try my hand at signing up with the Logistics Corps. I've never really been much of a fighter pilot and for a while I didn't really think the Navy was for me. However after discovering that I could enlist with the Logistics Corps it was like a dream come true. I used to fly freight for Ageira before joining the Navy. I think that this would be the best place to direct my skills and effort. Please consider my request to transfer to the Logistics Corps and thank you for your time.

Lieutenant Erickson,
We're glad to see you considering and volunteering for the logistics corps. Your will and experience in freighting is noted and I believe that your addition would be of good use to the corps. Keep in mind however that recent operations are going to require more than just that. Nonetheless with recent fleet mobilizations, we're going to need everyone we can get.
You're authorized command of the Fort Wayne as a start. The ship is based of of Long Island Station. Your ID will be updated with the Access Codes once you report there. Someone will be expecting you.
Welcome to the Logistics Corps, Lieutenant.

I have thoroughly considered all my options with the other wings and divisions and after all my thought and consideration have found this to be what feels like the most productive choice of them to me. I am versed well enough in both the piloting of a freighter vessel of numerous sizes as well as the escort of such vessels to and fro virtually any location.
I am trained and officially certified after numerous simulation as well as real flight tests for fighters, bombers as well as Naval transport vessels and feel fully capable to provide any services provided from me, that being stated I will speak no further on the matter and leave it the discretion of the heads of this Corps.
