First select a button for fire, assign, and select 1-6.
I suggest for fire you use - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
Assign - alt1, alt2, alt3, alt4, alt5, alt6.
Select - shift1, shift2, shift3, shift4, shift5, shift6.
first unselect all weapons you don't want in group 1. For example I have 2 infernos as group 1 and they are green when I hit the assign button. Which would be Alt + 1. then to make all the other weaps not in group 1 hit shift + 1 and it will select only those guns so you can use them for the right mouse button. Or you can simply hit 1 and fire them, but when you do that they don't fire repeatedly, you have to keep tapping it. then repeat this until all your weapons are in one group or another.
If there are anymore questions PM me or post here and I'll try to answer them.
Thanks for the question Marauder ... There was never an explanation in the original
FL box or paperwork. Thanks for the answer Dab .... You are probably the only one
who knows the answer. Damn ... Got to try it anyway.

"Comm. Adama:
-Starbuck whadda 'ya hear?
Starbuck:
-Nothing but the rain sir!
Comm. Adama:
-Then grab your gun and bring in the cat!
Starbuck:
-Boom , boom , boom!"

My characters: - =BSG=Starbuck ; Maj. Kara Thrace(fighter pilot)
- =BSG=Galactica ; Commander Lee Adama(Battlestar)
- =BSG=Helo ; Lt. Karl Agathon (bomber)
- Colonial 795 (trader)
It seems to be rather random when it decides to remove my groupings that I've had set. Sometimes they last a week, sometimes they go away in five minutes. An absolute MUST for any bomber though.
Groups may also stray off when you dock at a base or a planet or jump to a new system especially via Jump Holes. So I would suggest checking your weapon groups after doing these kind of things not to be enforced to do so while in fight.
