I'm sad to hear your decision to withdraw the application but I will stand with your choice. You are more than welcome to apply back at the Phoenix anytime, and continue where we left off if you ever change your mind in the future.

I am glad to hear that you are eager to join the Zoner ways; to be free and venture into the unknowns whenever you want is always an exciting prospect in my personal opinion.
Anyways, before we go any further, we just want to know more about you as an individual first. This is just so we understand what your current situation is, as we are family of curious people (that's why we also happen to hang around the outer edge of known space!). So generally give us a clue of your background, like where you are from and your family backgrounds, other affiliation or factions you may have worked for (if applicable) before becoming a Zoner, also how you manage to come across the Phoenix etc?
That's a Fair enough Question indeed, well lets see I am Formerly of the corsairs no specific Group of Corsairs though...and in my travels I stumbled upon Omicron Delta...even though the Corsair's did have a base in this system between the Core, Nomads and the Cold-shoulder from the Order, our former allies it was Hell...I then took refuge in Freeport 11 after being pursued by a nomad...at the time there was a Nephilim Zoner Dreadnought guarding the base to ensure that the 'No Fire Zone' was Kept...I was in Awe of this Huge but elegant ship, I was welcomed by the zoners on the station, I rested and repaired my ship whilst waiting for the Fighting to die down so I could return to Planet Crete.2 Hours later I left Freeport 11 and set off to Crete, but I had made my mind up, I was tired of the Constant Fighting I wanted to explore space peacefully and live peacefully, and with the war with the Outcast also Flaring up again it was Time, my decision was made I would Become a Zoner. I made it to Crete with out hassle, the only family I had was long Lost in the bloody battles in Omicron Eta to try Counter the Outcast dominance in the system.....I had few Friends and they were all devoted to the Cause, but even so I told them I'm Leaving to become a Zoner....they thought I was mad, most Corsairs still dislike zoners Presence especially after their Alliance with the Order, the Outcast however seem to have realised the Zoner presence is Useful (The things you See and learn on a Freeport are always Interesting) off I set to Freeport 9 (Omicron Theta was a Jump Hole away and thus Freeport 9 being the Closest of the Freeport's) to request to join the Zoners....They seemed happy to let me Join their ways, and to my surprise their was quite a few former Corsair's....after spending sometime in Freeport 9 I still found it a bit too 'Noisy' with the Outcasts, Corsair's, Freelancers and even Samura around...so I Moved to Freeport XV....and I must say I enjoyed it there, I traded in my Corsair Ship for the Osprey MKII and it surprised me! it Reminded me of my Titan yet not only was it Stronger it Could Dance in the skies! Unlike the Flying Armoured Brick the Titan was....As Time went on I purchased the Very Ship that Made me in Awe of Zoner Technology : The Nephilim Zoner Dreadnought from Livadia Shipyard ...it is here that I came across the Phoenix, "a Group of Nomadic Zoners who have picked the freedom that comes with living in the harsh environment of the edge world over the restrictions of colonized space" Once I read that I knew This Who I wanted to Fly with...
That is My Story From Corsair to Zoner and Hopefully to a Phoenix as well
I Hope that covered Everything if not then ask away Thank you ~ Ethereon

I can probably tell life of a Corsairs can be very demanding with all the conflicts going on, life as a Zoner on the other hand will be certainly be a lot quieter for you as I can imagine. You would probably sitting around twiddling with your thumbs compared to your old job! Anyway, with your understanding and knowledge into the edge worlds, you would certainly be a great asset for us, not to mention your skills as an ex-pilot can be used to defend us from the nomads if it really comes to it.
I also understand you have acquired some Zoner ships including a Nephilim. As a rule of thumb in our family, even though the ship is classed as a Dreadnought due to its size, we rarely use such a ship in combat. We don't even use it to defend "no fire zones" as contrary to what you saw, unless it is a direct attack to one our our bases or to self protection as a last resort.
This is because we want to minimise ourselves of the liability and not to have our technology stolen by others if it were to be destroyed. Not to mention such a loss to resources if one were to be poorly handled or wrecked to enemies! While our members can fly it freely, we generally tend not to not over publicize it to the surrounding area.
If you understand our situation and agrees with our ways of living, please feel free to give us your S.K.Y.P.E protocol (privately if you wish) so we can link up. I will give you a further run down of what it likes to be a Phoenix and what we expect from both of us before joining.
Most interesting about the defending no fire zone bit and indeed I did find that it is more of a Final Defence compared to the Corsair Dread, And I do believe Zoner warships should be kept away from prying eyes...that and apart from the Order the Corsairs ,Core and Outcasts tend to dislike zoner warships in their Systems

My Name is David Winger. Originally based in Planet Houston, Texas System. I lived with my brother who is a freelancer trader and my cousin who is an independent Junker. Having grow up with them doing trade runs and mining the scrap fields of Texas seemed a good way to earn money but I always yearned to explore the stars. I even ask my brother if he could take runs to the Omicrons but sadly he was content making trade runs using trade lanes within the Houses, saying it was the safe way to make a living. Finally he saw that I was not happy where I was and agreed to bring me to Freeport 9 where I could meet people who felt the same way as me. He was also kind enough to purchase me a ship I could own.
I wish to join your group to roam the Omicrons and protect it. if you would so accept me I think I would be able to contribute in a number of ways, I can join the patrols or do trade runs for you. Sadly I have not the honor to me any of you in space since I just recently arrived here. If you need any more information about me, just send me a comm. You can also find me at the bar at Freeport 9.
It is certainly good to hear your fondness and your enthusiasm towards the edge worlds. We definitely need more people with attitude like yours to join our ever growing family.
Referring to your brother, I can tell you life in the edge worlds certainly don't come without risk, but it also equally returns with huge rewards. Having said that, it also really depends on the perspective of "safe". It is true that the Omicrons can harbor unseen enemies, but you could equally risk targeted by pirates when trading in house space. Factions like the Lane hackers, Rogues and Xenos will gladly take your life at any moment if you are not too careful.
Anyway, from what I understand, you have not been a Zoner before. I hope you know the basis of Zoner and their philosophy ? We tend to live more of a conceal life with the goal of achieving things through peaceful means (whenever possible). We also sometimes have to do undesirable things such as complying to demands of another (e.g. Dropping contrabanned cargo) in order to maintain our neutrality. Will you be able to handle situations such as this ?
If so and you still wish to join the Phoenix, please give us your S.K.Y.P.E protocol (privately if you wish), and I will gladly run through few final things with you before accepting you into our family.
