Your people aren't being held against their will. They have been taken to a safe place as the station is on lockdown. Golanski has decided, with the help of some of his Gallic friends, to threaten our very existence. THEY used force, THEY make the threats and you want me to give in? I'd rather meet my maker than give into such arrogance!
You seem to know that this ship isn't as dangerous as Golanski makes it out to be. In your own words:
Quote:On several occasions the vessel was scanned by Order scientists looking for any possible threats and nothing was ever found to pose a risk to the vessel, her crew, nor other Phoenix assets. Simply, the vessel was far ahead of its time and this was the only major difference in performance.
Maybe YOU need to contact that arrogant idiot, Golanski, and remind him of it. If you have all the technical stuff on it, maybe you can build HIM one.
This isn't my conflict to de-escalate, it is his.

It's funny, this ship was scanned and checked by the Order before and no threat was ever found. What's the problem now? I really don't get it and at this point, I don't want to understand it. I also suggest you pick your friends more wisely as the Order has turned on the Corsairs who trained them and did the same with the Coalition after a brief military alliance. Once they get out of you what they want, you'll be tossed to the curb like yesterday's trash.
But I will no longer continue these long speeches with you as you and I will never agree and I won't ever give in to what you want. That said, I'll leave you with a proposal, based on the past of Gallics.
I propose a duel. You and me at 10 paces with handguns. I'm not a fighter pilot but I will fight anyone on the ground. Winner takes all. He shakes his head
I have nothing else to lose at this point.
Well, once again we see multiple violent tantrums from the order.. once again we see golanski self-detonate, if you pardon the expression, and show once again why it's about as welcome on this place as an astroid. You know I have my personal issues with you admiral, but I kept it low precisely because of your deep-irrational hatred towards free people. It reminds me of an old story of a dutch person, who being heard while he was shot to death, "Cant we just talk about it?". pauses.. takes a deep breath...
I don't know the details so i'm not going to judge you - but comeone, going anti-cloakwise with the religious? I mean, does it get any more surreal? I'll be supporting both of you on this issue, but I do hope you come to your senses quickly. You have other important things to do in the omicrons, and I salute the very fine job your agents are doing' on taking these squids back to the rat-hole. Please, let's keep it civil - were friends after-all, even if you don't see me that way.
But.. I will say this, that if that ship goes out of control, its a goner.
puts on headphones
Innocent until proven guilty, that applies to both of you.
I don't think Admiral Golanski is seeking for a Leviathan warship, as it's truly expensive ship with, partially, pointless functionality for a Order, as they have own superior technology which are using in their fleet. If they wanted to inspect the Leviathan, they were able to ask us. Ship itself is not a concern, but a Nomad sphere, which are protect the Persephone.
Do not let anger to drive you, Mr. Holliday. It blinds. If Order want to inspect infected vessel, only in interests of humanity - removal of the threat.
Nonetheless, I still requesting to be enlightened about Zoners which are held on the "summit". They are your guests, and I hardly can believe how guests can be turned into the hostages on Zoner station, by Zoner group.
Admiral was witnessing the chaos that Baffin has become. "One cruiser. Fifteen minutes long intervention." He told himself when watching stars in general direction where Nomad homeworld would be at, standing alone in observatory deck. "How long till the vultures will descend?" He tried asking himself a question he had no answer yet. All he knew, it was inevitable. He expected that at some point he would have to face as many enemies Orillion had did during Nomad War. He was retrospecting upon his decision taken long time ago when Sol Fenrir recommended sending some cardamine addicts he knew over to Gran Canaria.
"Maybe Doc is truly doing something good out there." Yet good deeds do not wash away sins and vice versa. He took personal interest in Cryer's research himself, yielding Stabiline in their most recent breakthrough. The Zoners are divided as he had remembered, insinuating conflict where it was sown. Situation troubled him just as excited - Wounds both fresh and old were opened all too easily. He wanted to heal one of those wounds - 818 A.S. Zoner Alliance fiasco was beyond his control. He was but a freshly promoted Captain at the time with near to no influence. Since then he got more experienced... "It was just a matter of time." He tried to reassure himself that nothing would have stopped it.
The Order fleets stood where they were, awaiting his order. East fleet headquartered in soon to be repaired Thebes could strike at any place in Omicrons without warning at a whim. With Core showing its devious face again in Omicron Delta, he was just in time to recall the Inquisitor battle group from Omicron 74. His thoughts were with the West fleet at opposite end of Sirius. This picket force in Inverness suffered a considerable decrease of firepower. Recalled carrier OCV Fedayeen, his personal pride in The Order's technological advancement left the shipyard not so long time ago and remained in Omicrons ever since.
Hesitating, he kept one cruiser to cover independent worlds. What Akiyama and Burton stated unsettled him. He never really considered TAZ to have guts enough to take half the Zoner VIP's hostage. This already had raised concerns among Phoenix. What Commonwealth were thinking? What game are they playing and under what rules? The Gallic Zoners allied with him hastily, no doubt to rip the profit rather than humanitarian reason. Michal got a different priority through... rescuing the prisoners: people like Solar Runners that unlike Gallics, he could trust.

According to the news we have received...
The Temporary Antonomous Zoners have took several Zoners hostage at Shasta, including Freeport 11's administrator John Douglas, Solar Runners representatives and their respective aide's and bodyguards alongside several unnacounted Zoner independents. Shortly said, this act of terrorism will not be taken lightly. Releasing ALL of the prisoners unharmed is additional term we place upon Discordians.

An act of terrorism? Where do you come up with these things? When the station gets threatened by you and your Gallic friends while we're trying to have an honest conference of diplomatic nature, it is our duty to ensure their security and it is being done. No one docks and no transmissions come or go until the threat is gone.
You make demands. I'll return the favor. Tell your Gallic friends to go home....and stay there and send your own fleet home THEN things will return to normal. You have ruined a conference already.
You will get no power core as you wish. As I understand it, you already saw that set up when the Pheonix Zoners had the ship. You should already have what you need.
Go home and the lock down will end. That is non-negotiable.

Skarsi Wyrdmake and Dr. John Henry Holliday,
I was hoping this would be resolved by now. 10 hours have elapsed with no response to Freeport 11's message. 14 hours remain.
The immediate safe passage of Parkes, Douglas and their delegation is called for once again.
This message is visible to The Order as well. If TAZ refuses to peacefully surrender our people, we humbly ask for military intervention to secure them safely.
Again, we reiterate that excuses claiming any lockdown will be seen as further military aggression.

"Golanski, here we though the Zoner's could come together and prevent a massive waring nation from invading our space and taking over our freeports and homes. Yet here you are acting as if on behalf of said nation, by bringing in warships and threating a religious people."
"We understand that the TAZ may have an alien device locked deep within the ship. Although quite frankly, I can say you’re being a little drastic in this measure. As far as they've stated, it’s a defensive system and a power core, not a weapon's drive nor a nomadic artifact. As far as we understood, the Order were against the uprising of the nomads and hostile races, but right now it seems you are against anything that is not human, which in this case is beginning to step a little out of bounds in terms of your authority."
"Leave the people on the summit alone, all your doing is bringing about the apocalypse of another zoner war, and as I recall with the last Zoner wars in the Omicrons, several other nations had to get involved to stop it, even the Corsairs who wanted nothing to do with it, the AI's who helped the order but are now enemies of yours, and many freelancers. This includes the loss of life which we cannot condone."
"If this is the direction the Order has chosen to bring peace to the colonies then you can exclude use from it, we don't want to be part of a group of people who think that the only way to bring peace is by the means over war and destruction and death. Last I recalled that happened, both sides lost with major loses on both sides, please rethink what you’re doing. I’m sure we are not the only ones who feel this way. This hostage situation which is being claimed right now seems to be coming from the Order. Not the TAZ themselves. You seem to have the actions within your grasp to fix things. We’d suggest that you take them. Stand down. You can run your checks and work things out when the summit ends. Do not turn this into something it doesn’t need to be.“

Opening message...
I have refrained from transmitting up until now, but i find i must clarify a few things.
Firstly, the "hostage situation" the Phoenix and members of Freeport 11 claim is not in fact a "hostage situation". The station is on lockdown due to the actions taken by admiral golanski, and will remain so until the crisis has ended and the threat of the Order removed.
Furthermore, we accuse the members of Freeport 11, and the Phoenix, of being beholden to Admiral Golanski and helping to perpetrate this unwarranted and illegal aggression against the Temporary Autonomous Zoners.
Secondly: We demand that Admiral Golanski surrender himself into Discordian custody for trial. The charges are as follows:
1 count of assaulting a TAZ flagged Vessel
1 count of assaulting the Blessed Persephone
1 count of breaching the No Fire Zone of Baffin.
At least 1 count of assault on a pope (possibly more. depends on how many popes were on the persephone)
5 counts of making threats towards the Temporary Autonomous Zoners
1 count of entering Baffin for the purposes of committing illegal acts.
Golanski will be tried according to the Pentabarf.
This is also a notice to the Order: Any Order vessel entering Baffin will be subject to internment and arrest of the crew. If they refuse to comply, they will be destroyed.
Our sole offer for the order to end this without further conflict has been given to Councilman Joseph Wolf, of the Solar Runners, who is free and present at the summit and been given clearance to communicate this to Solar Runners Council, who may act as independent mediators in this crisis.

Skarsi Wyrdmake,
Freeport 11 denies all of your asinine accusations. We've got no interests in your warmongering or whatever conflict you've made with The Order.
You accuse us of treachery and then you say our members are not being held hostage. I see now that you are holding innocent citizens of Freeport 11 as political prisoners. Perhaps you are infected after all.
Also, Phoenix wasn't even at the summit. Didn't you realise?
