Ended up picking up a contract to supply Optronic Arrays from Planet Honshu, to a base in the Manchester called "FortiSec". The buy price was 1,200 credits a unit, both loads were delivered successfully for a total of 10,000 Units. However during the first trip I was intercepted by an Outcast Destroyer and a Junker Pirate Train
I was informed that my transportation credentials were invalid and was required to pay a sum of 10 million credits to the lead vessel. I manged to grab a scan too.
So, last week I was finally back to Livadia to take command of the OSI-Sabana. It looks neat! With the new engines, wings, eletronic and weapons systems it looks almost like a new ship.
I took this image from the transport that brought me in. Here she is at the mooring point, her basic electric systems still running on the station supply:
After some extensive system checks for more than 20 minutes, the techs and myself got satisfied with the results, so I lauched from Livadia and programmed a flight plan to Gran Canaria.
During the flight I got a message from the Nichols Comms Center that the ALG signaled they would be getting there to pick up their docking modules within the hour. They showed up about 15 minutes after I arrived at Canaria's orbit. The Pilgrim Liner had a couple escorts with it. They were probably worried with the 'sairs.
Anyway, the ship docked at Nichols, and our engineers started installing the two modules. Meanwhile, the ALG wired the credits to the Nichols Trade Center account... It's best than the neural net, I suppose, since we don't have to pay taxes over it, hehe. Well, here is the ship, after having the modules installed:
I had a nice conversation with miss Somme, which was expressing her apreciation for our little planet. So I recommended to her to land to know the place better, and go to our Drunk'n Trade bar. She also expressed her satisfaction with our services and with the quality of our products... What a pretty lady...
Err, anyway, let's hope this is a good start to restore our reputation and legal status in Rheinland...
That's it for now. Starr out.

This is Loki Valmir, captain of the Fenrir and Loki's Pride, and I just thought I would log and interesting job I completed for a group of TAZ Zoners in Omega-49. it seemed like a simple enough job at first. They asked me to supply deuterium to a Zoner Carrier so they could jump into Baffin. Shortly after I rendezvoused with the TAZ carrier another TAZ capital ship joined us, the Persephone. I have heard other talk about it but I have never seen it first hand and it was quite a strange vessel. They then proceeded to get into jump formation and I dropped of the deuterium for them. It seemed as if the jump was successful and I returned the Fenrir to Gran Canaria.
Howdy,
I have some interesting news for you all in the OSI High Command. Over that last few weeks, I have noticed a strange concentration of Nomads in the Coronado and Baffin systems. I been stopped three times there in that time by nomad groups but never fired upon. Sometimes it can be hard to interpret the combination visions and telepathic messages they communicate with but it seems that the groups I have encountered have been trying to gather information about those they find. It also seems like one nomad in particular has been present in all three encounters. The first time I was stopped by it and another larger nomad that seemed to be almost like its teacher. The second time it was with a different nomad that seemed to be more like a student. This last encounter was just it by itself. Honestly, despite the fact that I know it is dangerous I almost start to feel a fondness towards it.
I will notify you of any other strange encounters with nomads I have while flying and I have attached a log I made of what the nomad said to me in his messages and an images of the encounter.

Just a quick report. Today the M/V.Odyssey was retired after a normal inspection showed that there was several fractures throughout the main superstructure due to her age. Rather than undergo an expensive refit I have elected to buy a new vessel.
The OSI-Hellespont.Fairfax is now running regular service from Gan Canaria to Freeport 11.

This is Loki Valmir and first thing I would like to report the acquisition of a new OSI ship I have facilitated. I got in contact with an old childhood friend of mine Jessica Mai. She grew up a Zoner like me and our families were pretty close when we were growing up and up until recently she had been living with her rich grandfather onboard his personal Renzu Liner. Well apparently he had passed away a few months ago and while he had left her the ship she has not been able to keep up with its maintenance and she had told me she was planning on selling it.
Sensing an opportunity for both of us I told her she should fly the ship with me as an OSI Luxury Liner. She jumped at the opportunity to keep her grandfather’s ship and accepted my proposal. Essentially the deal I made with her has the following terms:
The Renzu Liner will be primarily captained by me as I show her the ropes and she will be the second in command.
As she gains some experience she will be allowed to fly it without me when I am busy flying other transports and eventually even become primary captain of the ship.
Since the liner was designed as more of a personal mansion than a Luxury Liner it will require some major refits until it is at its full potential. As it stands we have been able to get some minor overhauls so that it is good enough for passenger transport in the meantime. Until all planned refits are complete a portion of profits will go towards the costs.
If any part of this deal is an issue with you all let me know and I can change it. The ship name shall be OSI-Extravagance.
---
The second part of this message is a proposal I would like to make to the board of Directors inspired by the acquisition of the OSI-Extravagance.
I believe it might be a good idea for OSI to start work on Tourism and Luxury Liner Division. I had actually considered proposing this back before I had to take time off to take care of my mother and I figured this would be a good time to actually see what you all think.
I feel like it would be a good investment for us for two reasons. First of all, Zoner Stations can be an exotic stop for many people living in house space. On top of that the reverse is true as well, Zoners living on Zoner stations often wish to get a break from space and often take trips to planets in house space to get some fresh air. It might even provide a way to ease relations with Rheinland if we can get a large enough Liner fleet to provide a significant tourism boost by letting us into their house again.
If you are interested let me know and I would be willing to write up a more detailed proposal as well as lead the division under supervision of the board if it is formed.
Passenger transports and pleasure cruises have been an on/off thing for quite some time at Omicron Supply Industries, yet have always failed to be a consistent part of our services. It appears as if there is very little demand in terms of pleasure cruises in the edge worlds and the most profitable routes and destinations are held and bitterly defended by OS&C and other corporations.
Secondly, safety is a very big issue, which we have, so far, never been able to guarantee at competitive prices. While the standard ejection mechanism works very well for smaller crafts, they have proven to be somewhat inept even for highly disciplined work spaces such as battleships. Consequently, having to abandon a Liner of whatever size, will most likely lead to massive loss of life, leading to the need of ensuring the liners safety way beyond the usual procedures.
Lower estimates for a security contingency for a Liner consist of 2 Fighters and 2 Bombers, as well as a scout-shop for forward reconnaissance. I'll have my secretary put together a dossier for you containing the difficulties previous entrepreneurs have faced in this particular market.
That aside, as long as you are operating within the policy and politics of Omicron Supply Industries, you should be free to operate a liner, under your own risk. However, increased foothold in such a market carries substantial risks, mainly in the public relation sector, as houses and their lobby-organizations tend to subsidize luxury tourism by gifting such rides to politicians (de facto bribes) and might not look to kindly towards new competitors on a saturated and quite solidified market.
I'll discuss this with Director Doria, while you write your proposal to the Board of Directors.
Best regards
Jason Kelly
CEO of Omicron Supply Industries
CEO Kelly,
I totally understand and share a lot of your concerns regarding the idea I am proposing but I do believe we can overcome them if we go about it the right way. With these concerns in mind, my proposal will be designed in a way that will start the division out small and grow around any obstacles that come up and allow it to be easily disbanded if it becomes more of a burden than a benefit. He is the first draft of my proposal so I am willing to change it based on the boards suggestions.

OSI Tourism and Cruise Division
My proposal is to create a small but organized group of OSI Liners and Yachts. My proposal is to start out small to allow the division to naturally evolve based on any pros and cons it experiences. I will mainly detail my idea for starting the division out(Phase One) and write down some possibilities for expansion later down the line(Phase Two). Phase One
Phase one is primarily meant to be an testing phase in which we try and gauge the advantages and hardships of creating a more substantial and permanent Tourism and Cruise Division. Some general goals to accomplish in this phase is as follows:
Seek volunteers within OSI to captain a small fleet of liners. If the division ends up getting disbanded the volunteers would still be able to use their liners on their own so the ships will not be wasted even the division itself turns out to not a viable opportunity.
Develop and test potential cruise routes.
Gauge the dangers of the routes developed and adjust accordingly. You mentioned the need for escorts as one of your concerns and while I do agree we should create a dedicated escort wing for the division I do believe a well equiped liner would be able to perform a lot of routes solo. We should create a dedicated database for liner captain to report any hostile encounters and which route they happened on. If certain routes prove dangerous we would assign escort accordingly.
Open communications with other corporations that might be able to help supply our liners and see if any deals can be made. Some obvious candidates would be Orbital Spa and Cruise as well as Synth Foods. One of your concerns you brought up concerned OS&C being resistant to cooperation might not be as much of an issue if we try and offer some mutually beneficial deals.
Adjust to any unforeseen circumstances.
Phase Two
A lot of Phase Two depends on the results of Phase One but I will list some possible goals during this phase:
Construct/expand and supply resorts on popular Zoner bases such as Planet Gran Canaria. This may require contracting with other corporations.
Expand liner fleet, possibly creating company owned ships that can be captained by any OSI member. This will allow those who do not want to create a liner themselves to occasionally contribute to this division.
Possibly use the promise of increased tourism to help negotiate passage back into Rheinland space.

I am willing to take any suggestions the board may have on the matter.
Bonjour, Monsieur Valmir.
Monsieur Kelly is indisposed at the moment, so I'll be taking over for a little while. I was planning on having a chat with you about your proposal anyway, as there are quite a few points I'd like to discuss with you.
You see, as the Director of Operations, it is my job to ensure the safety of the company, the security of its assets, its reputation, and most importantly, its operations, as the name of my job points out.
You see, you claim that if, hypothetically speaking, we were to create such a thing as a "tourism division", our, again hypothetical, Liners would be able to operate on their own. While it is indeed a possibility that such a vessel would be able to survive unaided in most environments, it would certainly be unsafe. And as you well know, safety is paramount, even more so with human passengers rather than cargo. Which means that every ship should be escorted. It is entirely possible to hire more pilots and purchase more ships for that purpose, however you need to keep in mind one of our organization's primary objectives. We are a company, monsieur Valmir. And what does a company want the most? Profit. I shall admit that this idea has quite a few possible benefits. However, these benefits are not guaranteed, especially due to the very high prices for the Liners, pilots, crew, and all the other things that one needs in order to operate a cruise industry efficiently. As such, the future of the Tourism division shall depend on one thing: results. I will be blunt, monsieur Valmir. If the results are unsatisfactory, or if you mess up even once and get people killed, no matter how small the number, consider the division ended and your career in OSI... terminated in the case of deaths, and most likely severely hampered if you fail. They say that pressure is often a good incentive. We shall see.
For now, I suggest that you limit the size of the division as to avoid any critical losses in the case of failure, however that is a mere suggestion and you are free to hire/tempt/trick however many pilots you wish into your little enterprise. Please do send the Security Division a message each time you are about to set off so that we may accompany you. You shall also report weekly on the results of your trips. Bonne chance.
Sincèrement,
