Eppy, I believe that refers to character names, not who they are on forums and such. If I'm wrong, then feel free to correct me. Anyway, in my opinion there's a thing called free will, and people should be free to choose whether or not their chars are known to the community, admins of course should know them, but I do not see a reason why the community "needs" to know this. Unless the community needs someone to flame for even the slightest mistake they might do. Because as we all know, these sort of factions are kept under a tight watch, and even the slightest mistake can be blown up to astronomical proportions.
Phantoms already are.
And, I believe everyone involved has already come forward...maybe I missed someone, but from what I've seen, its got the playerbase for an excellent faction. I've high hopes.

So, invalid argument, really.
I beg to differ. Read:
Quote:Complete list of faction members
This does not specify whether or not one should list primary forum accounts or character names, but it can be inferred that it means primary forum account. I take my own faction status, which lists character names (and something I will need to change). There are about twice as many characters on there as there are actual players, because by our nature as Hispanic/Italian we RP families. Now, what is the point of having the character names listed? None. The forum accounts allow an accurate count of actual members, hence, it should be forum accounts, not characters.

The main issue here isn't about secrecy, it's about the community's opinion, which is massively in favour of this proposal.
I think it's better to have this faction than not, it's been well thought out, and has clearly had a lot of attention lavished upon it. Having it made would prevent any other attempt to create a Wild faction with much less effort, actually I'm surprised that this is the first faction proposal we've seen on the subject since theis sub-forum wen't live.
On the subject of secrecy, it would seem that most of the community would like to know who is in this one, I concur, there is no need for secrecy based on the fact that some people might look down on this, so far nobody has looked down on this, so where's the problem?
Saint Del is considered a holy healer of diseases of children, but also as a protector of cattle.
Eppyon.. It says "with ranks" right behind it.. So, I think you are wrong.
As far as I know it's not necessary to put Forum names.
And as Tony said, what is the problem to make clan-forum account and use that one?
I also support what Titan said. Knowing who is in which faction only allows you to flame them on board, instead of reporting their character if they done something wrong.
So, what is important is to write down all in-game names, not forum names.

Yes... that makes sense. However Unselie was asking to find out WHO is going to be in this, not find out how many people there will be. This is an invasion of privacy, don't ask people to do it... I am just about to set up a new char in order to RP a char that is so far removed from my OC charaters that I don't want it to be judged by anything esle I've done.
Edit: I love the proposal. However it does (like all terrorist-y factions) need very careful management.

Again, I disagree. If I reported every time somebody invaded my privacy I'd have about six people banned (who, because I respect their privacy more than they respect mine, shall go unnamed). As much as it pains me to say, in the age of the Internet privacy is a dying thing.

Why am I wrong?
Quote:And as Tony said, what is the problem to make clan-forum account and use that one?
None. As long as you report the primary account as well. You can still use the alternate for RP reasons; as long as you make it known who you are.

Demanding of someone to reveal who they are, when you have no authority to do it, and if its against their will, is a violation of basic human rights, and therefore people should have a right to remain secret if they wish so. Admins as I said can know it because they need to in order to enforce the rules and keep order. The community has absolutely no reason to know this though. You can of course demand it, but people should not be forced to bow to some random individuals whims in order to have fun. If the individuals in the faction choose to reveal who they are by their own choice, then its alright, but forcing them is wrong.
