I think it would be a nice idea for the sake of technology compatibility to add EMP Pulse weapons to all houses.Like a diferent debilitator for each house.Same as the regular just more compatible with the IDs and diferent particles,like(suggesting)blue particles for liberty,(dunno) for bretonia,orange for kusari,green for rheinland and so on...And for better RP.Having a Navy fighter with
liberty pulse canons would be much cooler!
More customization, I mean more weapons at all. People should have more ability to choose what fits the best. Your idea is just eyecandy like with SNACs, but I agree with it.

But yeah...I agree that more customizable weaponry is good.
I personally wouldn't mind seeing the stats tweaked a bit so that all similar House weapons are NOT the same, but each has their own advantages and disadvantages.
Eyecandies suggestion: Faction bomber cannons, faction cerbs, but.. not the same stats and just different projectiles. For example, Rheinland bomber cannon would be plasma based with firing rate of 2 shots per second, in general all factions with plasma weapons would have rate 2:00 bomber cannon, with other projectile and stats depending on faction combat doctrine. Rheinland allways concentrated on power. I would make their bomber cannons powerfull, but energy eating a lot. Liberty cannons would be more energy efficient. Nomad ones? Just deadly. I would not make bomber cannons with more than rate 4:00. I quess Kusari bomber guns would be particle based with rate 4:00. etc...

My SNAC idea closer. I would change individual energy requirements, hull and shield damage.
Examples:
Civilian SNAC: 95 000 hdps, weakest but most energy-efficient
BHG .44:

Nomad Singularity cannon: 145 000 hdps, strongest, Nomads must be OP.
It would follow this order from strongest to weakest: Nomad > Hybrid > Military > OC/Sairs > Unlawfulls > Civilians.
Why OC/Sairs as separate? They are oldest and biggest criminal empires, they had enough time to develop own techs.
My basic idea about them is: Antimatter cannons power, + and - of them should follow infocards.
