so +1 to buffing Hogosha and Xenos
Yes, balance progression should be like Tetris, you add up to the sides that are lacking. When all groups have reached a ridiculous level of buffs, you can then cut them all in equal measure. Then you start again fighting again the imbalances.
The community has started to respond with more xenos. Now we need to see if they need an improvement somewhere.
Anyways, Junkers are fine. I extorted around 150m out of junkers I've found hauling cardamine back to Texas on my LPI. 10m a pop or so, and they get to keep the cardi. There is potential to hunt them on lawfuls, unlawfuls, and their actual enemies.
The kicker is that nobody really wants to hunt them down because there aren't any benefits to it normally. If we get a sirius wide bounty on junkers, that'll be a different story. I'm content with extorting 10m from salvagers hauling cardamine and occasionally destroying them with my xeno, though.
Nerf the junkers, kill the junkers, blow up the junkers ...... what's wrong about the junkers?
It's not Zoner like, it do have hostiles like the "Hogosha" and the "Xenos" and the Entire "Kusari Space" etc..
It doesn't have capital ships ... it's strongest ship is a Gunboat ...
It doesn't have lots of bases around, and the only commodity for the junkers is and will always be the "scrap metal"
Tell me, why Nerf the Junker? Because it's a successful faction & have a successful leaders working hard to bring members into the faction? is it because you see many players playing the junker then that means Nerf it?
Is there a possible way to have a popular faction without Nerf it ? or is it impossible to have a faction with many players? i really don't get it, many do debate junkers and many don't like seeing lots of junker players !!
What about making a Xenos active faction instead of trying all the time to nerf the Junkers!?
Junkers is one of the most interesting factions in game & reducing it is reducing the population of the server because there is a huge segment of players do like the junkers and i think it's a very bad idea to make the junkers weaker ... actually i wish they can add some capital ships to junkers and maybe more bases in other house systems & more systems owned by the junkers.
i believe then that this is more than enough to make the game more exciting
it's even better than opening tons of threads about how to reduce the options & capabilities of the most popular faction on the server.

a big sirius wide bounty on junkers would definitely be a good thing. because then, big benefits to hunt junkers.

I have a Xeno Pirate Transport but very little to do with it. Maybe this would make it viable.

I've personally always wanted to see a Xeno base in Texas though.
There's a Xeno base and a Liberty Rogues base in Hudson, and the Unioner one in Bering.
Including the Freeport, there are a lot of places from where potential enemies could fly out. Those systems are usually frequented by indie junkers, by my impression.
Junkers have a nice line going from Puerto Rico, Texas and New York, with bases in each system, supplemented with some Pob from their large community. Adding the protection against xenos made by law enforcement, and they have some large space to breathe.
A Xeno base in Texas, or in south New York could help the Junker's enemies actions, but first we should see if increased player activity in the faction can address some of these concerns.
