Quote:1.2 Trolling or harassing other members of the community
Consequences:
Hey there! It's story time with uncle Finn, ok? So, picture this in your head. You're in a ship, and you have a jumpdrive. Cool. You engage said jumpdrive. Cool. There may be some enemies about, but you don't want to suffer through them. Meh, it'd be better to RP with them, but that's another issue. You all of a sudden get a wall of PM's from someone saying how you're bad at RP'ing, how you need to learn to RP, how you are abusing jumpdrives, etc etc. And this person just does not quit PM'ing you. Half your screen is now filled with green messages because this guy will not stop! Etc etc, the end.
So the moral of the story is, when someone is doing something you don't like, maybe shoot them one or two PM's... Not pages of PM's. Cause at that point you are beating a dead horse and just frustrating someone and harassing them.
If you post in this sanction and are not directly involved or a leader of the accused person's faction be advised that you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbours, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
I still don't get how -helping- the member of the community is harassing. I only gave the guy some tips which he didn't seem to understand. Those "pages" of PMs were me trying to make him understand how this works, in other words i was being nice.
Now, if he felt harassed well then i'm sorry and i'm not going to try to help him or anyone again if by all the meanings, being a nice guy gets me a warning or who knows what will get me in the future...(?)
Although his motive, to instruct the other guy about how he's abusing his JD, had good intentions, his delivery of that message was more aggressive and snarky than helpful.
I stand by the admins decision, I'll go warn him myself.
