Chris,
I'm...Er. Well. This is a surprise. Not just the alien part. I mean, you never were quite right, right? It's just, well. I never expected to hear from you again. Before heat death, I mean. So a little later then now, you know. Just a bit.
I'm glad you're back though. You've got to look after people, don't you? Everyone talks about it, but so few people actually do anything. So I'm glad that's why you're on the way. It'll be a nice change from shaking things up - though somehow I think you'll manage that too.
Never mind me if I stick to your old name. I've got enough people around me I can't address properly already - which sort-of brings us to that meeting. I'd love to see you. I really, honestly would if I could. But I can't. Not right now. I've run in to some old friends of yours. I can't say where, exactly. If the paranoia I've seen around this place is any indication, they're probably reading this anyway (Hi guys!).
I might be able to make a run back to our old stomping grounds once I get back to Rheinland, though. I know. Don't ask. I'll explain everything in person. No promises that it'll make any sense, but I'll try. I'll let you know once I'm back around something sort-of-maybe-kind-of resembling civilization and we can catch up.
I should keep an eye on what's going on here, but it's good to hear from you.
