I think that would keep the lolwuts from using their LNS ships to siege a Hogosha base in Kyushu, but also allow for some fun and unique RP situations.
That could be a good idea.
As for the whole premise, there are defiantly situations where two allies should be able to assist one another; so long as there is the proper roleplay and reasoning behind it.

It's not the same server anymore. There's no chance in hell KNF alone can get 8 BS's to shoot a base for 109 minutes, while also not dying to million-cerb platforms.
That the KNF can't get enough players to log a BS doesn't change the ID ZOI.
Sorry, but Mollys don't have enough SRP or allied battleships either to be assured of taking a base down, yet have destroyed every base attempted to be built in Dublin using bombers & destroyers. Yes it takes longer, but keeping the shield up to prevent docking and destroying the base supplier ships does in fact work.
Just as there is more than one way to skin a cat, there's more than one way to kill a base.

Well, that *was* the admin team decision in 2012 when BAF-LN-RHA were pewpewing the Corsair base in Cambridge. *EVERYONE* involved or even in the same system got sanctioned - guns removed, armor removed, and warped to deep Omicrons in Nomad space.
At the time the decision was that ID ZOI > RP Treaty.
Just as I mentioned in a skype chat though. Even the US Supreme court reverses itself at times, though after such a severe punishment previously for similar actions I'd be doubtful.
You're seriously comparing Rheinland-Kusari relations with Bretonia-Hessian ones?
Here's another example: Liberty was allowed into Bretonia to assist with Gallic threat before Leeds even fell.
Or did everyone forget it, already?

I could understand that RM help KNF against exiles or even BD, but to remove a civilian base? Hell guys!
Hostile, heavily fortified (lol@ GattlingCerbers), unauthorized object in Kusari space, with Kusari not posessing sufficient capital-class firepower to remove said object. Anything but a "to kill civillians", really.

Enlighten me please.
Okay. Mollys and RHA have had a treaty with each other for years. By ID ZOI rules, however, RHA can't bring theri battleships to Dublin to pew a base. ID ZOI > RP treaty - it's been like that for ages.
To kill a base when you can't get enough battleships to grind it down?
* Keep the shield up so no one can dock on it
* Prevent base suppliers from docking on the base
* Destroy the base suppliers.
Granted, it takes longer, but it works. It's happened to 5 previous baes built in Dublin and it's currently working on the base being seiged over the last week. Shield is kept up and 14 base suppliers have been killed.
Rather than winning by destructin, it's winning by attrition...just have to have the patience & fortitude to do it.
